Our first @trevorsorbie Texture Training Day went down a treat! ✨

Texture specialists @benjamincbradley & @natalie.m.andrew alongside Artistic Education Director @ryforsythe delivered an inspiring day packed with learning all about textured hair.

From exploring how historical events have shaped perceptions of textured hair, to understanding hair structure and texture patterns, product knowledge, layering techniques and consultation.

We also focused on working with the hair’s natural texture - embracing and enhancing what’s already there - before opening up the floor for a Q&A. And, of course, it all came together with a fantastic hands-on session, putting everything into practice.

Thank you to all of the amazing models and to everyone who joined us and made our first Texture Training Day such a success! 💫

Proud to have presented alongside @ryforsythe @natalie.m.andrew @sorbie_creative_education for our very first Texture Training 🤎

It was amazing to be part of the first of many, creating a space to learn, share knowledge and build confidence when working with Afro and textured hair.

We explored the history and importance of Afro hair, consultation and communication, understanding different textures, techniques, product knowledge, hair care, and how we can better support every client who sits in our chair.

A really important first step, with so much more to come. 🖤

Thank you to everyone who attended, got involved and shared the day with us ❤️

And a special thank you to our amazing model @pye_musings for being part of such an important first session. 🤎

A look back at our Creative Scholarship Day, led by Artistic Education Director @ryforsythe

Ryan shared an insight into his approach to Creative Haircutting, before demonstrating a look inspired from Runway and Street style.

The group then recreated the look in a hands-on session, adding their own creative vision and individuality to the final result.

Thanks to everyone that attended the day @caseyc_hair @wendyhshih @davideshair @sandevhair
