Something happened that definitely wasn’t on my bingo card… 🐴♿️

Turns out getting back on the horse was a little more literal than expected.

I’m now a classified para-equestrian rider.

So… Brisbane 2032? 👀🐴

USA WORLD CHAMPIONS 🥹😭
I just can’t get over it, I am SO PROUD of them all 🥰

It took me a minute to make that post, I definitely needed a few days to rest as I got sick from exhaustion going home 💀

And above all, I wanted to find the right words… And they never came haha - so… I’m still very emotional about it, bear with me 😬

@usawr was the first team I actually followed when I started to watch wheelchair rugby 11 years ago. I can’t tell you why, I was just so drawn to them 🇺🇸 Learning about tactics and the sport watching them, finding my favorite athlete ever in @chuckaoki and learning more and more each time I saw them on my screen.
Then one day, I decided I wanted to watch them in real life. No more screen, I wanted to be in the room 📷
Got there in 2022, and it was one of my favorite tournament ever ❤️ They say never meet your heros… Well, I did and he turned out to be exactly who I thought he was, and even more. @chuckaoki has been my biggest supporter in this sport, making things happen because he believes in me. And this right there means EVERYTHING to me 🥹 Then, @adams0122 and @joedelagrave got on board with supporting me, and made sure I was there for them this year 💙
I already said it, but thank you so much for believing in me for 3 years now, trusting me with your images, welcoming me as part of the team ✨

And thank you to everyone in that team, on and off court for your kind words, your jokes, your happiness, I feel so blessed 🫶🏼

I can’t name everyone, but I wanna make sure you all know you played a key role in that win. Every single one of you. That win was absolutely controlled vs a very strong and smart @wheelchairrugbyau 🇦🇺

All of that being 16 years of work and sacrifices. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your History 🇺🇸

I just wanna finish this chaotic post with something so dumb but… Believe in your dreams. Manifest it. Make it happen. They will come in such a random crazy way, but passion, work and dedication will make it happen 🥰 I’m here cause I poured everything I had and have in this sport, and I’m not stopping there ❤️

Until next time 🤍

(All photos are from that final game & ceremony, more to come soon ✨)

I’m grateful for every single opportunity I have been given so far on this journey..

But giving out raw files is a big no no in my eyes and I will not do it

Thank you everyone who has respected my decision not to give out the raw flies
