my dog gear wishlist for fall!

Now I probably won’t buy most of these immediately but they have been on my mind for a bit! I am going to tag the shops I can so it is easier for y’all to take a look!

the non-stop dog wear line harness in the blue and orange special color-way!

it is the only harness I have never heard people complain about rubbing behind the armpits. Also, Winnie does not even have a non-service dog harness. And of course, it would not hurt for Delta to have a matching one! 😂

I am in desperate need of a snack haul for my pups! This means working treats for Winnie and meal upgrades for both pups. Here are some of the items/brands I am looking at: ryoken bars, girls gone raw, and open farm treats/supplements.

strange tails long line with detachable handle

I’m not sure what color I would get yet but definitely need to upgrade. Little Miss Delta is not off leash reliable and probably never will be. I have used the same fabric long line since I got her over 3 1/2 years ago and it is beat up and gross!

I do my best not to overconsume dog gear, but we need an upgrade. This leash is waterproof, and I love the idea of using it as a dragline for Winnie!

Winnie’s “forever” harness?

when is OFA‘s came back incredible, so it is time to think about getting a mobility harness I want one that will last, however, I am so picky!

Here are some of my wants: padding over almost every contact point, why front with a narrow padded front, non-rigid counter balance, FMP/leading handle placement option, waterproof or very water resistant, relatively light and easy to get on and off.

Would also love to hear harness maker experiences too! (Both good and bad!)

Dog-friendly hike in Simi Valley 🐾🥾⛰️

Hiked Hummingbird Trail with Bleu and the views were worth the climb🩵 We kept our adventure to the scenic overlook, but you can continue toward Swing Cave or connect to Rocky Peak if you want to explore more.

A few dog mom reminders: keep your pup leashed, bring plenty of water, and download your @alltrails map before heading out, the different trails can get confusing. 🗺️

And with very little shade, sun protection is a must for me ☀️ I always hike in UPF clothing + a sun hat/cap and keep a sunscreen stick handy for reapplying along the way.

Save this for your next dog-friendly LA adventure. 📌
