It's nice when you're seen.
And I mean really seen.

When people are there
who care. Who look after you.

Sometimes little things in everyday life are enough.

A cold drink served,
A lovingly prepared meal,
when you forget yourself again.

An "I'm proud of you and what you're doing!"

Sometimes just asking is enough:
"How are you?
Please tell me the long version!"

It helps you reflect on yourself and, above all,
it shows that you're genuinely interested.

So today marks one year since my divorce. And I’m grateful to my ex wife for the best 25 years of marriage. I’m grateful that I was able to give her a part of me that saved her life. And, I’m grateful that we both now have a new lease at life.

I am grateful for my friends. My new adventures. My new life. Whether it’s doing the work I love or on the motorcycle or diving or just learning my way around the kitchen.

Grateful for new adventures on the horizon 🙏
