Today was my last day at VERSUS. For 3.5 years we’ve worked and laughed and woke up thinking about making football a better place. I’d like to think, in our small corner, we succeeded.

I will be sad not to work every day with the amazing people that make up the VERSUS team. They are kind and talented and fun. Every day, however busy, was made better because it was shared with people I love. I will miss the hang, deeply. They will have to find someone new to play weird shit on the office radio.

Thank you to all the incredible people that spent early mornings and late nights creating with us. I learned so much on set with you all.

From Monday, I’ll be available for freelance work. If you’re in the business of making beautiful and interesting things, shout me. I might be able to help.

It’s been a minute🫶🏾 when I say life has been life-ing, whew!! But God is good! Life’s been very busy, but I want to get back into a routine with posting because, your girl’s still eating good👌🏾 let’s head back to April where I tried Makers Union in Arlington, VA with big bro and bestie. Was lively, our waiter was extremely attentive, and the brunch hit the spot 😋

Stay tuned, I took a beautiful 1 month trip to Mexico (June-July) for a dear friend’s wedding and travelled around with my bro. Met new faces and reconnected with old ones 🥰The food😲 ohhh the food!! And the mountainous landscape, the weather, the beaches!! Stay tuned, I’ll be sharing it all soon.🫶🏾

Black women in football have been the targets of an alarming string of racialised misogynistic abuse recently, highlighting the lack of support and resources across the sport’s biggest leagues.
