Regency Girls photo dump!

Happy closing!!! Spending the last 3 months in San Diego was a dream, and what better reason than to help bring to life this charming, hilarious, and timely show. Until next time…

Week one DONE! San Diego is absolutely hideous & I’m not having an absolute BLAST getting to create this new musical with friends old & new. What a delicious stone cold pack of weirdos! We get 2 WHOLE DAYS OFF to explore & it’s truly picturesque & these humans make it that much more lovely. Get your tickets & come see what all the @regencygirlsmusical fuss is about!

tmrw is a final show into a party into a red eye, so I’ll say my peace now ✊🏾

Cali was a blast, new works are a miracle, good comedy is joyous and shows that make space and seek justice for marginalized demographics will ALWAYS be my bag. honored to be back @theoldglobe, my forever home; to have gone on the carriage trip, after all this development. thankful to the gods for good friends/artists/poké.

@gaballgreen @curtisrustic @jencrittenden @amangreen - yall are mad geniuses and the gratitude is mine. @joshrhodes1115 - any time you call, I’ll be there. @becausenicoleh @rlg24 @fiedlerontheruf - I wanna be you when I grow up.

the rest of ya- yall are special and you know it. love you- YES, EVEN YOU @therealellisdawson- more than I’ll ever admit.

Argle Bargle is life. Going green. Greenage.

Until next time my sweet Petunia 🥹

What a joyride it has been to embody this silly-unabashed-loving-girl’s girl-everybody’s girl for 7 years. Gonna bring this energy into every damn day, because let’s be real, we should all think to ourselves: What would Tunie the Tiger do? #WWTTTD

I love this cast so hard and I’m so proud of what we have left on @theoldglobe stage. And to my girls, I’ll take a carriage trip anywhere with you 🫠

“I know it in my heart, I feel it in my bones: this life we dare to dream will come to be.”

@gaballgreen @jencrittenden @amangreen @curtisrustic @rlg24 @becausenicoleh @joshrhodes1115 @fiedlerontheruf - endlessly thankful for you all 💜🩵

Happy Closing to this glorious beast. REGENCY GIRLS, you’ve been a heckuva romp.

1. MAN THINGS - god, I’m a dancer
2. Captured by @_thankyou5_
3. Team Ensemble 💜
4. Self-explanatory
5. The drag wig I never ended up wearing 😢
6. A MOOD
7. Also self-explanatory

9. Understudy quick change rehearsal (this is Lady Catherine, obvs, check that WIG!)
10. Door, 1, AJJ, 0
11. Gabe in my v normal sunglasses
12. Walks in San Diego with my fav person
13. Apartment reading of PEGGY (& BEN) with my generous and hilarious castmates - this is Benjamin giving us a pitch-perfect portrayal of my nuanced and historically accurate take on George Washington
14. Old friends!!!! So great to reconnect with Alex so many years after our EPBB days
15. Deck crew was also roped into understudy rehearsal
16. Again, this is very clear
17. Some would say scarily obvious
18. No need to explain this, either

Tonight's bill - the @roundaboutnyc production of "1776" as told by a cast of female, non-binary, and trans actors, many of whom were also people of color. And a great seat courtesy of a digital rush ticket from @todaytix. The non-traditional casting was a powerful and impactful way to represent out founding fathers. @crystallucasperry was incredible and passionate as John Adams. The always exquisite @caroleecarmello was wonderful as John Dickinson. I could easily go through and name all 22 cast members individually for their incredible performances, but suffice it to say, the incredible performances are yet another example of why we need a Best Ensemble Tony Award. This adaptation is fresh and inspirational. Kudos and thanks to the entire cast for an incredible evening of theater!

We finally freakin did it!!
We officially opened @otherworldmusical this past weekend, and lemme tell ya, it was equal parts extraordinary and surreal.
Getting this show in front of its first audience has been a journey that spans six years, starting with me @beltingbons @sethicus_30 doing a 29hr reading of this in the Spring of 2016. We knew then that this show was special, and so we kept coming back for workshops, table reads, labs, and an almost full production in 2020 that was foiled by, well, you know, the whole global pandemic thing.
But being able to come back to this world, thanks to @delawaretheatrecompany, is such a gift. I am profoundly grateful to our creatives @huntbell @jefbowen @mcnamee.ann @adriennech @karlapunogarcia and every single designer, stage manager, stagehand, dresser, human being and otherwise who has joined forces with us to make this show possible. And HUGE love to our amazingly talented cast, I am in awe of you all every day. And finally, massive amounts of love and gratitude to my wife @lindseybop for seeing me through every step of this journey, supporting me, and loving me no matter what. ☺️
We’re in Wilmington performing until March 20th, do yourself a favor and get your butt to this show! See you in Lefflin!
