God is at work in Peru. 🤍🇵🇪 This week with @provchurchig and @compassion was one of the most meaningful, life-changing experiences I’ve ever had. I went to Peru knowing that we weren’t bringing God with us—He was already there. He was there in the people we met, the stories we were trusted with, the children and families who welcomed us with open arms, the worship, the laughter, the tears, and the moments when language failed us but love somehow didn’t. We prayed for eyes to see where God was moving, ears to hear the stories He wanted us to hear, and a heart willing to serve however He led. What I didn’t fully realize was how much God would use the people of Peru to minister to me. I came home with a deeper understanding of God’s heart for His people and an even greater desire to join Him in what He is doing around the world. God is at work in Peru. Through Compassion, through the local church, through families and communities, and through people faithfully saying yes to Him every single day. And Leah was with me, too. 🤍 I carried her love for missions, her heart for people, and her example of what it looks like to say yes when God calls. God reminded me that she isn’t nearly as far away as she feels. I’m still processing everything. But I know this much: we left asking God to go before us, work through us, and bring us home changed by Him. And boy, did He. And I already can’t wait to go back. Gracias, Perú. You have a piece of my heart forever. 🇵🇪🤍
