Highlight reel. I wouldn’t repeat this year for a billion dollars, yet I’m better for it. Not pictured: the weeks of 2023 I was too depressed to even get out of bed. It’s okay to only want to remember the good parts as long as you prioritize your mental health❤️

Last day @cocoonportugal !

9 months ago Nathan & I were trying to nail down our official honeymoon destination and then @fitqueenirene posted that she was hosting a handstand/contortion intensive in Portugal. We originally were considering Spain but looked into Portugal and were blown away.

I am so grateful for my openness and curiosity to challenge my body and mind in new ways because I have truly fallen in love with this type of training. It has not only elevated my practice to a whole new level, but it has allowed me the opportunity to train with some incredibly inspirational practitioners. Additionally, Irene has been an amazing coach and mentor who knows just how to help me fine tune my practice and take me to the next level. She keeps it fun, effective, and worth every moment.

And now Nathan & I are off to Madeira for our solo portion of this honeymoon and we are stoked. To all the friends we’ve made at Cocoon, safe travels and we look forward to future reunions. Irene, thank you for keeping it real and being the badass that you are. Feeling so strong & bendy!

Island life, here we come.
