Today marks the end of a unique and influential era of Black tv. The season finale of Insecure aired today and I am not ok. 🥺 From the moment Insecure aired I was glued to it for its hyperspecific portrait of LA, vibey music, and its ability to tell the Black experience in an undiluted way. But if you know me then you know how much I love watching Insecure for the fashion! Seeing the style of Black- millennials on screen brings me such joy, especially knowing that a great deal of the fashion on the show supports Black and, often, independent designers in the industry.

One of my favorite tops was recently worn by Molly on ep. 7 of the final season. It's designed by @kendraduplantier and is a stand out, timeless piece. More thoughts in my bio on why the tank top is top tier in my book.

Shout out to @shionat for so beautifully and authentically telling the stories of the characters of Insecure through their wardrobe. I'll miss seeing all the new looks and learning about the brands and designers featured in each episode. As we celebrate the lasting influence of a beautiful show, what will you miss most about Insecure? 🥂
