Experiencing love in Bali 🤍

Oh how I love music! What a joy & blessing to come up with the crazy idea to invest in the “laying down of a song” by and for my soul brother, Kita from Bali in a studio in New York City. With not just professional musicians by with the one-and-only David Gungor and members of his Good Shepherd Collective. Kita called the experience “epic.” I couldn’t agree more! During the middle of Climate Week NYC, no less. We started on Saturday night with an RE soul salon where Kita performed his song “Sovereign by Design” w/David on guitar and Kate Gungor on violin. Stunning! Monday and Tuesday, they worked in two different studios. Kudos & congratulations to Kita for the mastery of this soulful song! Thank you David for producing & performing and owning the process. Thank you Jeremy for creating the music video. God bless all who had a hand capturing the magic of this profound message for the world! Thank you to my soul sister, Christina Stevens for pulling away from Climate Week with me to JB’s Juke Joint to soak up this joy with me.

I can not wait to see where this goes. 🎶 🌱 ✨ 🌍

As per the tradition now, I got to spend the celebration of a new year around the sun in silence, in nature.
 A moment of reflection, rest, inquiry and contemplation. We took a long walk along a river, stopped, walk, stopped, walk… with no plan, no goal. Phone off, away from the constant noise of the world to allow the mind to relax, process, and see, ideally more clearly.   I’m deeply grateful for my beloved, @monicadogra for sharing this moment with me, my family, all my friends and extended community for holding me in their loving thoughts. Thank you for those who got to share a moment the day prior, sharing a delicious feast, chanting, spending a quality moment and your generous gifts.   May the simplest moments of life be the most significant 🙏

It’s the community that gathers around the tabLe.🧂

Every meal carries the stories, hands, songs, laughter, traditions and energy of the people around it. A kitchen becomes alive when it is shared, when different cultures meet, art inspires, music fills the space, and every ingredient is offered with love and presence.🤎

We prepared cacao for the opening ceremony of the festival for 1.500 people, we learned ritual of the tea, elixirs alchemy, being part of the artist brunch and celebrate and nourish the team as we became a family.
