Meadowlark Farm & Mill | August 2, 2026 | Ridgeway, WI

Some farms you visit once and think about for years. Meadowlark is one of them — an iconic barn, heritage trees, and fields of ripening grain rolling out toward the Driftless region’s ridgetops. We fell for this place a few years ago, and we couldn’t be happier to be back.
Host farmers Halee and John Wepking milled a story into every course before we ever sat down — leading us through their fields and their community flour mill, grain that would show up hours later, transformed, on our plates. It’s the kind of full-circle moment this life is built for.

Guest chef Mitchel Weber met that grain with a menu rooted in rustic Italian classics and Roman street food, built almost entirely from scratch and tuned to whatever August’s harvest handed him. The table moved from a sausage roll with Door County cherry mostarda through Meadowlark’s own red fife and rye sourdough, past beets with foraged honey and marigold greens, to a grilled pork sausage with flint corn polenta and carrot-top zhoug — grain, garden, and the Driftless landscape traded back and forth across every plate.

Guest winemaker Erin Rasmussen of American Wine Project poured wines grown just down the road, and State Line Distillery’s John Mleziva brought a cocktail built for a summer evening in a barnyard.
An evening years in the making, set exactly where it was always meant to happen.

A love story for the ages… Mr. & Mrs. Onsgard! 🤍

On a beautiful summer Saturday in La Crosse, Wisconsin, Annie & Blake became husband and wife surrounded by their daughter, their closest friends, and the families who have loved them every step of the way. Their Wisconsin wedding was filled with heartfelt moments, meaningful tributes, and a dance floor that stayed packed all night long.

From an emotional ceremony to joyful, candid moments and timeless portraits, their celebration at The Cargill Room was the perfect reminder that the best wedding days are about the people you share them with.
