@sagrerafarms fun fact theres roughly 400,000 certified black angus cows. Theres less than 1000 Sagrera black angus cattle. For every 1 Sagrera black angus cow. There's 400 other black angus cows. That shows how rare Shawn beef truly is. In larger numbers there's roughly 30,000,000 beef cows. That makes shawn 1:30,000. His angus beef is a true delicacy. Very special and takes a lot of time, effort, blood, sweat and tears to produce. This man works his ass off to produce the #1 angus product in our country. It's why its special when a establishment sells his beef. There's more Japanese a5 cattle then a Sagrera 16-19% imf cow on this planet. That shows rarity of this product

Something we set out to do was standout. We felt that could be done by upholding a high standard with quality service and quality products. When we embarked on this journey to develop a relationship with a reputable, transparent, and genuine local farmer, one stood out from the beginning, Mr. Shawn Sagrera. Aside from him producing the best beef in the state of Louisiana, and within 500 nautical miles of Baton Rouge, he and his wife Mrs. Christie, are phenomenal individuals. Mr. Shawn is a 4th generation farmer who has turned his passion into a science. He has been able to adapt and adjust through years of farming and now produces the top 1% beef. Detail is applied to each animal, to ensure that she, or he, lives the best possible life completely stress free. So much detail in fact, each cow’s DNA can be traced back years. This isn’t just any backyard beef, this is the highest quality beef you will find anywhere around.
What separates Sagrera Farms from the rest ?

The facts:
📌 Only 10% of beef in the U.S. qualifies for the ultimate grade of Prime

📌Every cow born on Sagrera Farms has a 96% chance to grade prime, consistency and predictability is something that has been practically perfected on this farm

📌At only 2 weeks old Mr. Shawn knows whether a cow will grade prime or not through a blood sample

📌Every bull on Sagrera Farms is in the top 1%, which is then bred to a top 1% cow

📌Beef is typically dry aged for 17-21 days, Sagrera Farms dry ages their beef for 45 days

📌There are no shortcuts with any cow, from conception to your family’s dinner table is a 3 year journey, 1,095 days to be exact

📌These cows are NOT confined in a cubicle and fed only grain in hopes to have a quick turnaround and unavoidably produce a sub par product, instead they graze happily on hundreds of acres

📌Marbling is a heredity trait, this doesn’t happen overnight, not even over a year. This is what buying naturally raised beef directly from a Louisiana cattle farm looks like. 🥩

On a neighbor’s suggestion, four of us traveled to Ethel, Louisiana, to visit @sagrerafarms and met Shawn Sagrera who took us on an incredible tour of his cattle ranch.

Shawn walked us through every step of how his beef is naturally raised on grass and finished on grain, from pasture to processing. Seeing it all in person gave us a whole new appreciation for the care and quality behind the process.

We each left with a freezer full of high-quality beef and the confidence of knowing exactly where our food comes from. An experience I’d highly recommend to anyone, whether you live in Louisiana or not.

Breaking this 1,700 lb. bad boy down. This one is the best of the best!!! We haven’t seen a carcass quite like this and @supperclub_br has it.

Celebration of life, love and family!

My parents Austin and Waveel Sagrera’s first trip to @supperclub_br

Leighton Carbo had all the wheels in motion to make this a memorable night for my family. These guys are pros!!!!! Food was spectacular and service was simply off the charts. This was a special evening!!!!

Last night was easily the greatest night I have ever had at supperclub. It was because of the lady i was with. This is what i call a Sagrera night. Got 3 Sagrera cutt, burnt ends, flat iron, and ribeye. 3 completely different cuts and 3 completely different flavor profiles. The best part of the entire night wasn't any of those. It is actually being able to spend with this girl. Because nights like these are what life's all about.
