🎬 Meet Team B. 👀

✌🏾Two weeks. One prompt. One genre. Let’s see what they build.

Team B is locked in — their creative challenge has officially begun. Every team was given a genre and a prompt sponsored by @flerish, and from here it’s all about execution. Stay tuned for BTS content and their official genre reveal.

And shoutout to our film set partners @rjrpropsatl for gifting every team 1 free booked hour on a set of their choice. THAT is community. 🙌🏾

Still smiling from my premiere 🥹🎬🍿✨

What an unforgettable night.
Watching a film that I wrote, directed, and acted in play on the BIG SCREEN was honestly one of the coolest moments of my life.😭🙌🏽

😎Seeing an idea that started in my mind come to life… then hearing the audience laugh, react, and pour so much love into it in real time was SURREAL!
The feedback was honestly better than I could’ve ever imagined. 🥹❤️

❤️Huge love to my amazing cast, crew, sponsor @flerish, @tsa.network @thecohortnyc and all the incredible people who continue to push me, believe in me, and remind me to keep saying yes to new opportunities. I love y’all so much! ❤️🥹

To everyone who doubted me or said I was doing too much…thank you for the motivation to do my own thing! 😉💋

🌟One thing about me, I’m never gonna stop evolving! And I hope this is YOUR sign to do the same! 💃🏽

🌟Have the audacity to do anything your heart desires!!

👉🏾Every time I give myself permission to step into something new, I unlock another version of myself. Another gift. Another level.💫

👉🏾Never put yourself in a box.

I just added Writer, Director & Producer to the résumé now. ✅💅🏽✨

👉🏾And who’s to say what’s next☺️

🌟Don’t let people convince you that you have to pick one thing.

🌟You can be multifaceted.
🌟You can reinvent yourself.
🌟You can master one lane… and still build another.

👉🏾The only limits on your life are the ones you accept.

Keep saying yes to the ideas that scare you.
You never know what is about to change your life✨

Last night I walked into an Atlanta movie theater and saw MYSELF on the big screen for my very first film appearance and it was surreal! Thanks to God & my wonderful team for coming together to create something that’ll stand the test of time. Huge S/O to @tsa.network x @thecohortnyc for blessing us all with this amazing opportunity. Many of you all know me via nursing or my music. I guess we can add acting to that list now… KEEP BETTING ON YOURSELF! This is only the beginning #nurse #nurses #nursing #nursesofinstagram #nursetravius

“The rain didn’t wash the soul away.” - @KamasiWashington

We caught up with Kamasi Washington moments after taking the stage at Atlanta Jazz Festival to reflect on the performance, his connection to the music, and why Atlanta continues to hold a special place in his heart.

Safe to say, the love is mutual. 🤎

From the workshop to the stage, the story kept unfolding. 🎷✨

After his Atlanta Jazz Festival performance, we caught up with Cody Matlock to talk about his set, including his Erykah Badu covers and his duet with Atlanta legend Dashill Smith.

Dashill, who was also featured in our Afrobeat Jazz: Rhythm, Roots, and Evolution workshop, joined Cody on stage for a special moment rooted in history, collaboration, and Atlanta sound.

Tap in for the backstory behind the performance and the song.

Name That Sample: Miles Davis Edition 🎺

We put Hero The Band to the test to see if they could guess which artists sampled a Miles Davis classic.

Because Miles’ sound didn’t just shape jazz. It traveled through hip-hop, R&B, soul, and beyond.

Catch Hero The Band opening the Friday Night Kickoff Concert at Symphony Hall as we celebrate the Miles Davis Centennial.
