One of thee loveliest afternoons… And still feeling oh so good!💞

Couldn’t be more proud to receive the ‘Doing the Most Good’ Award in front of my Family, Friends and Colleagues a few weeks ago from the @salarmyphilly The Salvation Army of Greater Philadelphia at their ‘Celebrate Hope’ Luncheon!

A BIG thank you to the incomparable Reverend Bonnie Camarda! And so much appreciation for Emcee 6abc’s Karen Rogers and Philabundance’s Loree Jones Brown who brought me to TEARS with their introductions!

So thrilled to have so many in the room supporting me - my wonderful Mom, my Man Steven, BFF Valerie, my fab Coordinator Marguerite and my tribe of Loved Ones, Work Fam and Community Organizations I’ve supported through the years.

Congratulations to my fellow Honorees - JEVS’ Cynthia Figueroa and Congressman Dwight Evans.

It’s a blessing and a pleasure and a mission to ‘DO GOOD’ with a platform I’ve been given and making an impact on our communities in need.

The Unidos en Nuestra Celebración Hispanic Heritage Month Event was a festive night to remember! Hispanic culture was shining bright with amazing dance performances by the Salvation Army Tabernacle Philadelphia Dance Team and Move On Arts Studio, and soul-stirring musical performances by Raices Boricuas (Johnny & Aida Cruz), Alex Moreno (@alexmorenosinger) and the Salvation Army's very own Major Israel V. Acosta!

We unveiled the breathtaking mural by Ministry of Awe (@moaphilly) artist, LEMUS (@lemusmonart , a testament to the power of creativity and community.

A huge thank you to our amazing MC Tiffany Tavarez for guiding us through the evening and keeping everyone entertained.

The delicious food by @vickies_sweets was the perfect fuel for our celebration!

Congratulations to our honorees: Majors Miguel & Francisca Robinson, Maria D. Quinones Sanchez, Juan Lopez, Councilmember Quetcy Lozada, and Jose Lemus - your contributions to our community are a shining example of what it means to live a life of purpose and passion! 🎉

Pennsylvania’s Latino community powers our economy, strengthens our workforce, and enriches our communities - Rep. Johanny Cepeda-Freytiz and the PA Legislative Latino Caucus brought the committee to Easton today for a data-driven hearing on the state of PA’s Latino community.

Part of the Pennsylvania Latino Convention, we heard from experts and community voices about both the tremendous contributions Latinos are making to Pennsylvania’s economy and workforce, and the challenges Latino families continue to face.

Today was about listening, learning, and identifying concrete ideas that can help PA’s Latino communities thrive - which makes a better Pennsylvania for everyone.

Today, CBP Architects attended the Salvation Army of Greater Philadelphia’s Celebrate Hope Annual Luncheon! Hosted in the Wanamaker Building, this event raised support for the Salvation Army’s services, with an emphasis on its programs that provide housing, support, and sponsor activities for senior citizens.

CBP is pleased to contribute to this important cause and support the Salvation Army of Greater Philadelphia in their mission to meet human needs. For more about this event and how to help, click on the link in our bio.
