I had such a fun day celebrating you.. Happy Birthday Mum 🩷

• A walk through Goldstream 🍁
• Art drop off 🎨 @timberandtidegeneralstore Maple Bay
• Lunch at the Crow and Gate Pub 🍻
• An afternoon float and night away @kingfishersparesort 🧖‍♀️
• Dinner @ocean7aquabistro … how magic to have the lady next to you say “are you Sally Chupick?” What’s the chance that a couple of gals who met each other once three years ago @hollyhocklife (and haven’t seen each other since), are sitting next to each other at dinner … and turns out they’re born the same day. Happy 70th and 82nd to you both 🥂.. truly something special to witness❤️✨… #travelbugs01

My sister is in town visiting from the Kooteney’s, (she’s escaping all the smoke!) I was excited to bring her to the ArtSea Gallery today to see Sally Chupick’s beautiful solo show! Today’s the last day of the show but…

Both Sally and I will be at the Bowker Creek Brush Up this Sunday, August 9th.

I hope you’ll come by and visit us and have a look at our latest creations.

I love watching this gal do her thing at the @artgalleryvic Paint In. It’s such an incredible event which brings tens of thousands of people to Moss St every year… all in the name of Art!

Every year so many wonderful people stop by to say hello, wish us well, purchase, and just rave over artist @sallychupick works … she’s built a real tribe and following within the community and it’s really special to see.

Real proud of who you are and the work you create Mum, it’s an honour to stand by your side 🩷✨

Thanks so much for the great picture @canadianne_eats 🤗✨

To plant a garden is to dream of tomorrow✨- the delphiniums are in full show off mode right now in the garden 💙💜🩵
We spent the day being a little slower than usual after another successful Art Garden party yesterday. We had a great time!
Thanks to everyone ❤️ who made our day extra special by stopping in to browse the wares, chat with the artists and brave the rain ☔️.
Now back to the regular scheduled programming 😏.. #travelbugs01

Light and bright new work by Sally Chupick in our Minis For May
.
Over the past thirty years Sally’s studio practice has developed into a signature soft, energetic voice.

Born in Nova Scotia, she’s always loved creating. In 1978 she graduated with an honours diploma in fashion design, working in the industry before marrying the love of her life, raising her young family and moving frequently. Creative pursuits flourished; she painted in watercolours, then studied oil painting and art history while living in Australia. She now works primarily in the oil medium.

Her semi abstract oil paintings are landscapes and botanical themes springing from an intuitive studio practice, and a regular plein air practice.

She lives on Vancouver Island, where she has her home studio. Her available work can be found on her website, (sallychupick.com) and through the galleries she works with.
