The night begins. 🌙

We are incredibly proud to announce that ALL THINGS COME TO NIGHT has received its first Official Selection at the Los Angeles Fantasy Fest 2026.

And this is only the beginning.

After more than two years of bringing this film to life, we’re officially beginning our festival run, special screenings, and limited theatrical journey.

What started with a small cast and crew in the woods of Northern California is finally ready to meet an audience.

Our first stop will be Los Angeles Fantasy Fest, taking place November 20–21, 2026 in Los Angeles.

More festival announcements.
More screenings.
More cities.
More to come.

The night has only just begun.

Same fight. Different angle.

When you only have one day to get it right… every move has to count.

No room for hesitation.

One day of training.

That’s all we had before cameras rolled.

No safety net. No extra time. Just trust, timing, and figuring it out in real time.

This is what that looks like.

This is where it started.

No stunt team. No weeks of prep.
Just a conversation, a plan… and a decision to go for it.

One day of training. That’s it.

Everything you’re about to see came from this moment.

I worked on this project a couple of months ago, and it was such a fun experience, especially getting to collaborate again with @liltonstewart3 and having my favorite human ever on set too, aka @nicholaspadams (yes, the boyfriend hehe).
I’m always grateful to work with people who create a kind, supportive, and fun environment. It truly makes all the difference. Can’t wait to see the final cut of this short! 🎬💙

Behind the scenes with @itsmphatso as The Burglar—watching, listening, absorbing everything happening on set. Locked in. Patient. Dangerous in the quiet way.

Mphatso doesn’t just show up, he studies the moment. Every beat matters. Every detail counts. That level of focus? That’s craft. That’s respect for the work. That’s the kind of energy that lifts an entire production without ever asking for the spotlight.

A team couldn’t ask for more, and a story couldn’t ask for a better presence lurking just outside the frame.

First look behind the scenes of HOLDOUT.

Matt Christian steps into the pressure cooker as BENNY, opposite Yasha Rayzberg as CRAIG—two performances colliding in a story where loyalty, fear, and survival are constantly at odds.

This is just an early glimpse, but the tension was already baked in. More to come.

In honor of Black History Month, HOLDOUT proudly honors the Black creatives who carried this story from imagination to intention, from pen to lens, and from lens to screen.

HOLDOUT began as a spark in 2021, written by Writer/Director Anthony Jones @anthony_s_ig, then known as CAPTURED. Years later, in October 2025, that spark was passed, intentionally and generously, to Writer/Director Lilton Stewart III @liltonstewart3, who infused the script with his voice and vision in preparation to bring the story to life as a short film.

To build the foundation, Lilton partnered with Ariel Salomé @iamarielsalome, a multi-hyphenate entrepreneur stepping boldly into her first independently produced film. As Producer, Ariel architected the framework that allowed the project to breathe, creating space for collaboration, discovery, and the assembling of a team rooted in purpose.

That journey led to cinematography. Through fellow Black woman Writer/Director India Bey @indi.65, Lilton was introduced to her friend and collaborator, Kieran Armstrong @wesnosheckk, a visual storyteller whose eye captures more than images. His frames carry memory, culture, and the quiet gravity of the Black experience, etched into every composition.

As we celebrate our history, while pushing toward a future where our contributions no longer require a designated month to be acknowledged, we choose to shine a cascading light on Black excellence, Black collaboration, and Black legacy.

Because Black history is American history.

Happy American History.

On December 13th of last year, a group of incredible filmmakers came together to bring HOLDOUT to life.

What began as a screenplay written by Anthony Jones in 2021, and later revitalized for the present day by Lilton Stewart III, became something bigger through collaboration, trust, and pure creative hunger. Orchestrated by Ariel Salomé and Salomé Media, this team built a world that’s tense, intimate, and unforgettable.

Through the striking visuals of Kieran Armstrong and the fully realized production design of Kelly Wick, the story found its texture. And through the undeniable performances of Matt Christian, Mphatso Mgangira, Yasha Rayzberg, Nicholas Adams, and Hannah Folk, it found its heartbeat.

This is just the beginning.

Post-production is underway, festivals are on the horizon, and we can’t wait to take you along for what comes next.

See you soon.
