You missed the opening and all that human behaviour, but the Portals are a little quieter now - pop in if you’re in Govanhill!

One year ago today I opened my solo exhibition at @salt_spacecoop!

It was such a great experience, meeting so many new people over the time the show was on. I think one of the most interesting things I took away from it was seeing how these paintings connected with people from a lot of different backgrounds.

Looking back on the show now, it was a lot of work getting everything together, and I remember feeling very nervous in the days and weeks leading up to it, as I was convinced that something would go wrong and it would all collapse on itself…. fortunately, that didn’t happen, and it was all very worth it in the end 🤣

Thank you to everyone who came along to the show and to everyone who helped make it happen. Big thanks to SaltSpace Gallery for allowing me the space too!

Got a few more exciting things on the horizon that I’m looking forward to sharing. Next up is the Scottish Portrait Awards at the end of November, will keep you posted! 🙌

Dancing around ‘the cave’, as I wonder how best to get this rather fragile piece of paper onto the wall… got to distract myself somehow. Portals open on Friday @salt_spacecoop….

Last Sunday prep, drying the last flower with a hairdryer because i just had to get it off the floor and be able to move again - going through these portals one way and the other is taking its toll and i could do with a dance!
Portals at @salt_spacecoop next weekend, pop along for a glass of wine or a Gaza cola on Friday evening if you’re in Glasgow, come for a quieter and more personal immersive experience at the weekend…
