2026 American Association Complete Hitter Award Winner: Jairo Pomares, OF, Lincoln Saltdogs

Pomares did a little bit of everything at the plate this season. He controlled the zone, battled with two strikes, limited swings and misses, and barreled balls all year long. His ability to consistently put up quality at-bats made him a pitcher’s nightmare.

Congratulations to Jairo Pomares on a fantastic season!

Double the projects at Haymarket Park!

Construction is underway on renovations to both the baseball and softball facilities at Haymarket Park, home to Nebraska Baseball, Husker Softball, and the Lincoln Saltdogs.

With demolition wrapping up and foundation work underway, both projects are taking shape. The improvements will enhance spaces that support athletes, coaches, and staff while continuing the evolution of a facility that has been part of Husker Athletics and the Lincoln community for more than two decades.

Sampson is proud to continue building on our history at Haymarket Park as it enters this next chapter.
