HIMUN 26 DELEGATES TRAINING | THROWBACK

Before the gavel dropped, we built capacity.

The Delegates Training for HIMUN 26 was not just an orientation , it was the foundation for diplomatic excellence. We equipped delegates with the core pillars of MUN: Research, Rules of Procedure, Resolution Writing, Public Speaking, and Negotiation.

Why does it matter? Because effective diplomacy doesn't happen by chance. It is trained. A well-trained delegate makes a powerful conference.

As we look forward to HIMUN 27, we continue to prioritize preparation over performance.

Last week, our Founder & Chief Operations Officer, Mr. Chiemela Samuel, and the President of the General Assembly of BIMUN26Rwanda, Mr. Muhammad Mubarak Abdulkarim, paid an official visit to Counsellor Clementine V. Msafiri of the High Commission of the United Republic of Tanzania.

The meeting marks a significant step in deepening the relationship between the BIMUN Development Organization and the Government of Tanzania, as we advance preparations for #BIMUN27Tanzania, our upcoming international conference in Zanzibar.

Since the launch of #BIMUN27Zanzibar, it has been amazing to see the volume of interest from prospective delegates and institutions.

We will continue to put in the work to ensure that #BIMUN27 indeed becomes the life transforming conference we’ve promised it’ll be.

Day 2 was filled with insightful debates, meaningful discussions, and different perspectives. As Chair of the UNODC committee, I had the opportunity to guide the conversation, learn from the delegates, and witness the power of diplomacy.

Grateful for the experience, the lessons, and the people who made the day worthwhile. One step, one conversation, one lesson at a time. ✨

First committee session: survived.
Opening plenary:H.E Peter Obi walked in.
Me: okay so this is not your regular conference 😭
Seeing someone you've only ever watched through a screen now speaking live hits different. BIMUN understood the assignment.
