DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT - TWOSTAR ENGLAND TRACKSUIT & SCALEMAIL ENGLAND JERSEY 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿☕️

england, our beloved home, the home of football. we wanted to create pieces for the upcoming world cup which would bring our nation together, through function and design.

we loved the badges of the past in club and international football, before modernisation took over, so we wanted to incorporate this into our designs, working with illustrator @sam_bedworth & researching heraldry design to create a unique take on england’s famous 3 lions crest.

inspired by the iconic design of england’s 2006 shirt we wanted to alter this into a tracksuit format, taking inspiration from it but building it into a new entity, to celebrate 20 years since the ‘golden generation’ of english football.

the initial sketches and designs were passed on to @david.oades who finalised and cooked them into a new beast, even hand building the scalemail print from scratch (fun fact every piece of the armour is built from one scale, which has been stretched, mirrored and angled throughout to create different shapes).

our team is built of people from many cultures and walks of life, we wanted to express that this month, pushing the message of internationality which runs deep in kroen’s dna 🧬

both international tracksuits are dropping next tuesday 30th of june at 6pm. we can’t wait for you to experience the quality and attention to detail we have put into every piece 😁

COME ON ENGLAND 🦁🌹🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 LET’S BRING IT HOME.

Scavengers by night
5 colour screen print on paper
Limited edition of 10
A4

The second print I made for the exhibition Migration and Mutation @rockaway_park

The Red Fox, well known in Bristol and beyond for their astounding ability to thrive in urban environments. Having evolved to have a shorter and wider snout compared to their countryside cousin; they are an excellent example of wildlife mutating to suit metropolitan surroundings.

If you’d like to buy one they are £60!

Scavengers by Day
5 colour screen print on paper
Limited edition of 10
A4

The first of two prints made for the exhibition Migration and Mutation @rockaway_park

The Herring Gull, notorious in Aberystwyth and feared by many in towns and cities worldwide. Incredibly capable of scavenging and stealing from holidaymakers and locals alike. As common in land and at sea yet surprisingly on the red list of endangered species. A great example of nature adapting to live alongside humans, for better or for worse.

If you’d like to buy one they are £60!

On Sunday we had a super fun day getting the window of @summitcyclesuk ready for the National Road Race Championships that are coming to Aberystwyth later this month!
Designed by @sam_bedworth and all hand drawn in Posca!
Special thanks to Alice and Caleb who popped in to drop us off a coffee and then decided to stay for the next 5 hours helping us colour it all in 😂
