Happy Father’s Day to the guy who has always put his family first.
From four boys to now being “DG” to Charlie and father in law to Lea, you’ve always been there—through the good times, the hard times, and everything in between.
You’ve given us so many great memories over the years. Family trips, adventures, celebrations, and countless moments together. You have always believed that experiences are more important than things, and our family is better because of it.
Thank you for all the love, support, patience, and laughter you’ve brought to our lives.
We love you and are so lucky you’re ours. ❤️

Yesterday we said goodbye to our sweet Kirby.

For 12 years, he was so much more than a dog. He was the sweetest, most gentle soul who greeted us at the door, the loyal companion who never left our side, the keeper of countless family memories, and a source of unconditional love through every season of life. He was always there to comfort us in times of sadness—and there were quite a few during his 12 years.

Over the past few weeks, we watched his body grow tired and weak, but his heart never changed. He remained the same loving, faithful boy who wanted nothing more than to be close to the people he loved.

One of the hardest parts of loving a dog is knowing that the time you have with them will never be long enough, and that one day you will have to let them go. Yesterday,we gave Kirby the final gift we could give him—a peaceful goodbye surrounded by love. Many tears were shed, both in person and via FaceTime across the country.

Our hearts are broken, but we are so grateful—for every walk, every cuddle, every bathroom snuggle, every car ride, every tail wag, and every moment we were lucky enough to share with him.

Thank you, Kirby, for being the best boy. You were deeply loved, and you always will be.

Run free, sweet boy, and say hello to Sasha and Sheamus. ❤️🐾
