Dear friends, my record label, "illusoriska takter," will be shutting down indefinitely. Balancing a full-time job with running a label is no longer sustainable for me.

All my personal time has been poured into the label, and I also have a radio show that demands a great deal of time. When your body signals that it’s overwhelmed by stress, you have to listen and take a break.

On an exciting note, I’ll be pitching my music to other labels.

New music and exciting new paths lie ahead for me in the near future...

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend. Sending lots of love and hugs to everyone who has been part of my label, and to everyone who has played my music. Tagged as many i can thanks for support my label and Dejan (SE) alias theese 6 years❤️

While Amsterdam moves at full speed this week, ZERØBPM invites you to slow all the way down.

Surrender to the ritual.

Saturday’s Meditation on the Cosmos invites you to close your eyes and lose your sense of the room’s edges.

Ratherlost shapes the afternoon with Isabel Soto, Richard Akingbehin and Dasha Rush, giving each artist time to draw listeners into their sound. ORPHIC carries us into the evening, followed by Maarten Vos live and DINA.

ZERØBPM | The slowest space of ADE.
23/24/25 October · 07:30–00:00

Meet the collectives shaping our ADE rituals. Next is ORPHIC, whose Saturday afternoon curation forms part of ‘Meditation on the Cosmos.’

The theme looks to distance, orbit and the scale of what lies beyond us. Musically, it opens into hypnotic movement, spatial detail and sound that seems to hang in suspension. Repetition becomes a way of losing track of time.

ORPHIC brings a precise, deep-rooted approach to electronic music, with space for texture, tension and detail to unfold slowly. Within ZERØBPM, that sensibility is given room to stretch further. Rhythm softens, atmosphere moves forward, and the room becomes part of the composition.

From 16:30 to 21:00, ORPHIC welcomes AYIM, Hitam and SAMA into De Thomaskerk. AYIM opens at 16:30, Hitam follows with a live performance at 18:00, and SAMA closes the curation from 19:30.

When we started in 2019, we simply wanted to give artists we knew a spot. That quickly developed into recognising the incredible talent we have in the Netherlands and the value of having a strong local DJ scene.

We decided to only book local artists & talents, but we also felt a responsibility to help them grow. What gave us energy, was not only having a transactional relationship, but build connections that would last and strengthen.

So booking local is a clear choice. It’s our way of showing that there is incredible local talent (across the whole Netherlands, not just Amsterdam) that deserves full dancefloors and the space to develop into even greater artists.
Even though times have changed, this part of our concept has never changed. We strongly believe in what we are creating together with these artists.

And it has been an absolute pleasure to get to know some of them better. Not only by booking them, but also through conversations about their development, their ambitions and the industry around them.

3,5 years ago I wrote a note on my phone imagining the future of Mindscape before it existed (slide3)..

12 events and a few solar cycles later we’re here:
I’m proud to see the community we have shaped with likeminded music heads at Mindscape now finally develop into the label family I have imagined all this time.

To share this first release with my favorite artists was exactly how I intended this moment to be, and I’m proud they have trusted me with their music.

Grab your copy at bandcamp or your favorite recordstore, or come catch one in person tomorrow at @lofi.amsterdam where we celebrate both the release and the community behind this all 🌀
