Being able to show up and support my great friend, my brother and amazing @samadegoke , in New York for his stage play alongside the incredible @samlunderwood was such a beautiful experience. ❤️🥹

One thing about me, I will ALWAYS show up for my people! I genuinely love being there for my friends, supporting them in whatever they’re passionate about, and watching them FLOURISH in their gifts. There’s something so special about seeing the people you love doing what they love, walking in their purpose, and being great at it. And I’ll never take for granted the opportunity to witness that. ❤️

These two literally made me fall in love with stage plays! 🎭 The talent, the delivery, the emotions, the presence… EVERYTHING! You’re watching pure, raw talent right in front of you. No edits, no graphics, no computerized effects, no second takes to hide behind. Just real talent, hard work, and the ability to captivate an entire room with nothing but your craft. And honestly, I couldn’t be happier for them both.

@samadegoke and @samlunderwood are truly incredible actors, and watching them do their thing makes me so proud. This is only the beginning, and I genuinely can’t wait to see more of what you both have in store. The world needs to see more of this kind of talent! 👏🏽🔥

Congratulations, my guys! So proud of you both. Keep shining, keep growing, and keep doing what you do best. I’ll always be cheering you on and showing up whenever I can.

Love you both plenty! ❤️❤️❤️

What a joy to have this wonderful Off-Broadway experience performing at @classicstage with new friends and a challenging, fulfilling, but most importantly FUN, Chekhov journey! ✨ So grateful to you all 🥰 #TheRealIvanov

@realivanovoffbway rehearsal pics

so glad these outfits were documented 🤓

It’s always a strange thing to close a show, especially one as fast and furious as The Real Ivanov (two weeks of rehearsal before tech! Ah!). I’m enjoying some much needed rest, working on the short film, writing, reading a giant book (Tom’s Crossing anyone?), and lifting of course. Would love to do some singing if anyone is doing an open mic… or karaoke night 😘

Excited for what the fall and winter season brings ✨

#NYFW “PÉPÈRE” S/S-27 Trunk Show Recap | Pt. 1

It’s been a couple of years since I’ve been able to do anything, so this one was special.

For those who have known the trials and tribulations, who actually know the real story behind it all... for those who have had patience and faith in me to deliver and get to this point... and for those who assessed me on their own terms... words can’t express how thankful I am for the support.

Big thanks to @shopandson and @lalospirits for helping me push this one through. For those who were there, thank you! For those who couldn’t make it, there will be another at some point in the future. Much Love!

Special Thanks to @repnyc for the support! 🛠️

Did you catch The Real Ivanov in @newyorkermag? 👀

“I am spent,” the title character of “The Real Ivanov,” Laura Strausfeld’s adaptation of Chekhov’s first completed play, repeatedly laments. Sensitively delivered by @samlunderwood, Ivanov’s refrain neatly convey the thirty-five-year-old gentleman farmers psychological and financial state: debt-ridden depression. His doting wife (@msivoryaquino ) wants to help, but her ministrations perturb him. So, too, do the antics of his estate manager (a buoyant @samadegoke), always concocting money-making schemes, and the wide-eyed adoration of the girl next door (@amelia.rmason , deftly balancing naiveté with seductiveness) who wants to save him. Strausfeld’s direction is as nimble as her rendering of Chekhov’s dialogue, but her lightness of touch occasionally roves counterproductive; two scene-ending bangs—fireworks, a gun—make less of an impression than Ivanov’s whimpers.
