Whew. I don’t fully know what to say here — witnessing, because apart of, and capturing snippets of my twin sister marry the love of her life, (in one of the most beautiful places on earth!), was the privilege and experience of a lifetime. I am still overwhelmed by the love that surrounded Lane and Danny; in disbelief over the more than 100 people who shape the fabric of their lives that traveled from across the globe to show up for them and be together for this moment. I did not want any of it to end. Anyone who was there, feel free to comment one of your favorite memories from the wedding/weekend, so it can forever be memorialized in this post’s comment section :’) Congratulations Lane and Danny, I love you both so much.

One year without my bear. The first pic was taken August 5, 2024, and I can remember exactly how much pain I was in knowing we had less than 48 hours left together. It is hard to believe that a whole year later, the pain I feel is just as raw, and I still look for her at home when I walk into a room. “Grief is just love with nowhere to go”
