Incredibly grateful to have been a part of this years @weareseeingred Runway of Rezilience 🔥🙌🏽 This space that has been building for 3 years goes strong and one of our biggest highlights was being recognized and celebrated for our work which reflects who we are as Kichwa peoples.

This years theme was Skywalkers, those who built our cities with sheer strength, skill, and dedication. Our grandfather was one of those workers on sky rise buildings, contracted because he would do dangerous work that no one else would. He was a steelworker that committed his life to his family and livelihood.

Steelwork led to metal, metal led to armour, and armour is what led to these designs by @yana_manta for this collection MUSHUK PACHA | New Timeline. A time where we are defenders of our heritage, lands, and waters.

This collection is an exploration of what it would look like to turn fabrics into armour using western silhouettes. It’s a total mind bend 🔥

Yupaychani @weareseeingred for opening up the space to Indigenous Southerners ❤️ yupaychani for the new relationships built and seeds planted ✨ for seeing our work as needed.

Introducing @pacha_arts by @yana_manta an official designer for the 2026 Runway of Rezilience.

Rooted in Kichwa worldview and Andean textile traditions, Yana Manta blends ancestral knowledge with contemporary design to create garments that celebrate Indigenous identity, sustainability, and the vision of Indigenous futurism. Every piece is a reflection of cultural resilience, innovation, and the enduring strength of Indigenous storytelling.

This September, experience a collection that bridges generations, honours tradition, and imagines bold Indigenous futures on one of Canada's premier Indigenous fashion runways.

Hi World! We went on @etalkctv 😆🎉 Speaking about our work is such a wonderful thing because we get to dive into the stories of our textiles, our culture, and our community collaborations.
@soniamangattv was SO amazing at helping us feel at ease, so incredibly culturally aware and just super sweet person 😭✨

This was very meaningful to us because Toronto is where we started. Being seen in the place that you’ve put your blood, sweat, and tears makes it all feel worth it. We put our manifestations out there and belief in our dreams coming true 😌

Loved the entire team at @etalkctv and cannot wait for the segment to air!

WE DID IT 🔥 Our first runway at @fashionarttoronto 🔥 This one was a wild one and we’re still reeling from all the energy.

It felt like community really came together for this one. It’s beautiful to see how creativity flows when resources are so tight. And we have to start with thank yous ✨

One thing we’ll never let go of is the knowing that rising together makes us stronger. Sharing space, resources, knowledge, will get us farther than anything else. When we look out for each other, the work shines and speaks for itself.
