When you can’t see the bull shark that flips out of the water in front of you on a wave. That might be a good thing!!

Surfing blind is scary, but when it’s just me and @samba_mann out by ourselves and he’s the only one that can see, and he sees a 10ft bull shark just flip out of the water in front of me. Those are things I’d prefer he didn’t tell me about.

I’ll take giant waves and shallow reefs any day over that, thank you.

When you’re blind and you can’t see the wave Surfing is pretty hard. But just like anything hard in life if you keep trying you’ll eventually get there and when you do the bigger the challenge the greater the feeling of accomplishment.🤙🥇🏄 📸 @digibearofficial

Lazy blind surfing 🤙

Samba drives, I jump. That’s it.

“Hold, hold, hold… GO Matty!” and I’m off the side into the perfect spot.

No paddling. No yelling north-south-in-out. No trying to wire instructions from his brain into mine mid-wave. Just one word: go.
