Deadlift War OneLife 2026
My first competition of the year, such a unique opportunity to share the sport that I love with coworkers and members alike. @dcstrengthcoach put on a great meet and I was honored to be a part of it.

Deadlift 475, 515, 555

The heaviest, I’ve been able to lift by far since injuring my left leg in January. Injuries are all part of the process, the hardest part is truly trusting yourself that you’ll make it back and stick to the process in the meantime. Can’t wait for the next one 🤘

try this 👇

If Bulgarian's hurt, if you want to load more, or if you can't seem to stay stable:

💡Use the Sissy Squat Pad to rest your foot💡

💥Coming from a guy that's torn both his ACLs & Meniscus w 1 surgery + sprained both ankles, it felt like butter!

After years of pushing through subtle pain after I thought I perfected my form, I was able to load up to 275x5e topset on the Smith (banded) with minimal to no pain.

‼️ add a band as needed to progress without as much direct pain in the joints Thanks to @samcolvin.fit for the setup

Bench Press with Sam! Major props to Sam for the great workout.

If there’s anybody that knows about body transformations it’s this guy.

He’s competed in body building shows and has shown tremendous discipline and work ethic in his routine.

Sam is also a personal trainer and it’s a joy to see him everytime I enter the gym, it’s laughs and smiles the whole day 😁 keep doing what you do bro 🤞🏽🔥🙂‍↕️ @samcolvin.fit

Ps (I actually hit 235 in this video for 3ish reps and at the time that was a or for me)

6️⃣ lessons I learned from Failure #motivation

🧠Learn from your mistakes! They make you into who you are today.

The gym is a beautiful microcosm for life.
I firmly believe that focusing on BF%, RPE, RIR, hell even PEDs won't get you very far without refining your mind towards:
• Willingness to learn,
• Perseverance & Discipline
• Prioritizing proficiency at the next task at hand.

Sam is a 22 yr old drug free competitor | He placed 2nd in his class at his very first show back in March of this year.

Couldn't be happier with his execution, consistent drive to learn, and adaptive mindset 🔥

He loves embodying the Classic Physique category and everything that comes with the art of posing. Watching his training, posing, and mentality evolve has been a pleasure. Excited to bring an even better package to the next stage🎯
