Day 2 in the Atlas Mountains 🇲🇦🏔️

We caught up with the Ethar Relief team to see how everyone’s feeling — and the spirits are high! ❤️💪

The legs may be getting tired, but every step is worth it as we continue raising vital funds for Sudanese refugees in desperate need. 🇸🇩

One team. One journey. One incredible cause.

Day 1 in the Atlas Mountains 🇲🇦🏔️

Today, the Ethar Relief volunteers took their first steps into the breathtaking Atlas Mountains of Morocco — led by our mountain guide Sameed from Summit Special, alongside Dr Yusuf.

But every step we take carries a purpose far greater than reaching the summit. ❤️

We’re climbing to raise vital funds for Sudanese refugees who have been forced from their homes and are in desperate need of support. Through the long climbs, tired legs and challenging moments, we’re reminded of exactly why we’re here.

This is only the beginning of our journey. Follow along over the coming days to see where the mountains take us, what we get up to along the way, and the incredible moments we share together.

One mountain. One team. One purpose. 🇸🇩❤️

Congratulations @Gooutdoors another successful community hike. This time a family hike to celebrate Beatrix Potter. And in the same week…. We snapped the new Autumn/Winter bits and pieces. Who doesn’t want to try all the parkas, puffa jackets and beanies in 25 degrees on a fell top surrounded by slate for that bounce around heat. NOT COMPLAINING I ENJOY THE SUNSHINE. Long may it last.

Lovely to meet you family hikers. Always good to hang out @rose.marie.outdoors

A stunning day yesterday, leading the inaugural Go Outdoors Community Family Hike with @helenskelton, alongside my fellow OS Champions and outdoor leaders @sameed.asghar @rose.marie.outdoors and @altitude.addict. 😊

The day started at Yew Tree Farm near Coniston, with Beatrix Potter story time read by Helen Skelton, before we all headed out directly from the farm for a lovely walk around Tarn Hows. Returning afterwards for some lunch and refreshments.

This event coincided with the recent 160th birthday of Beatrix Potter and much of the land in that area, (including Yew Tree Farm and Tarn Hows) was once owned by her. When she died, she left it in her will to the National Trust.

A pleasure to meet such a lovely group in one of my favourite parts of the Lake District. The weather conditions couldn’t have been better either.. A great success. ☀️

Thanks to @yewtreefarmconiston for having us!
