POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It’s #throwbackthursday so here are some behind-the-scenes photos of the WIP when we completed the Map of West End In September 2020. These photos showcase the planning, painting, fabricating and installation of this big 4’ x 4’ art installation. Writing proposals, budgeting, gathering supplies, and then the fun part of creating the work happens. Here are some of the members who were hard at work to bring the vision to life! Collab made possible by @gordiehowebrg @westendartproject 🎨 🛠 ✍🏻 ☀️

Bead by Bead today at SOAHAC as a part of our 100 Journals Project. Vanguard members and participants were guided by @yaya__yakonikulanetska in the creation process. We drew in the community garden, learned about traditional techniques, and created our own designs! Part 2 tomorrow, drop ins welcome, materials provided!
