Tastemakers: Sam Hurst

As Tastemakers on BBC Radio Nottingham comes to a close, the one and only @samhursttx joined us in the studio to talk about her experiences so far on her journey in broadcasting. Sam is a broadcast journalist, a rising star in the world of presenting, and a CBJ alumni. We spoke about her journey, and how her broadcasting career began, and we spoke about women in broadcasting. As her portfolio grows, Sam uses her confidence, humility and passion to shine brightly in everything she does. Currently working at Notts TV, she is most definitely destined to shine!

Listen back to Tastemakers on Arun Verma’s show on BBC Sounds: Link is in the bio (Tastemakers begins from an 1hr & 9mins mark)

Well…a summer of @thehundred action has been and gone 🏏😢

I honestly cannot thank @jamesedwardparfitt and the entire @progressprods team enough for what has certainly been a life changing summer! 🌟 I’ve learnt so much in the short space of time I’ve been on this project, and to finish it off with a trip to The Oval and Lords with some amazing fellow hosts made it even better 😊

I can’t wait to see what happens next year for @welshfire now! And who knows what’s next from here 🥳
