Meet the contestants vying for the title of Miss Wisconsin USA 2025✨

Hi! I’m Samantha Akins! I am 29 years old. I am a wife, proud mama to the sweetest baby boy, Atlas, and a former competitor in the USA pageant system.

By day, I work from home as an Events Director, with years of experience in the wedding and event industry. I earned my bachelor’s degree in communication and event planning, and I’m also a 6’1” former collegiate volleyball player (and yes, I still rock the heels 😉).

I’m the oldest of three siblings. My younger sister Sabrina is a U.S. Marine Corps Combat Engineer Officer. My younger brother Connor, who was killed in 2020 by another minor, is the inspiration behind my platform. I advocate for proper safe storage and responsible use of firearms to protect children and families, a mission I support through the incredible nonprofit Project ChildSafe.

As a wife, mother, and working woman, I’ve learned the power of using your voice, setting bold goals, and leading with heart and determination. Ever since I was a little girl (swipe to see baby Sam in her “Future Miss Wisconsin” tee), the Miss USA system has held a special place in my heart. After a decade of competing, growing, and persevering, I stand here proud of the woman I’ve become. This journey has taught me that dreams are always worth chasing, and that with grit and grace, anything is possible. 🫶🏼

Competing in the Miss USA system has been incredibly special to me as a mother, a dreamer, and a woman who never gave up. Years of hard work for the opportunity of a lifetime. For over 10 years of determination and drive, I have grown and changed into the woman I am today. Forever thankful to this system and to the incredible women I’ve met along the way.
