May memories 🫶🍷🏃‍♀️🚴‍♀️🎂

🍷 Had the most amazing weekend in the Granite Belt region for the #grazingthegranitebelt hop on and off bus tour 🫶 We met some incredible winery owners including Greg from @balancingheartvineyard - best pizzas and the most amazing wine with a view. You can explore the vineyards with a wine and read about the grapes 🍇. Adam from @dearvincentwines what a cracker bloke! Also owns the @ballandean.pub we loved his wines and the steak at the pub was next level, not to mention his hospitality. @newtricks.au sunset wines looking over the beautiful countryside 🌅

🏃‍♀️ Had a few wines and left the car in Stanthorpe, ran the 5kms with Corey the next morning to pick it up…. Cold 🥶 high altitude, and a bit seedy = ran my fastest 5km to date 😂 Didn’t love it at the time!

🍇 Took Corey’s sister, Amy, to the Granite Belt a few weeks later to take her hiking and explore the region. We hiked #baldrock and the Pyramid and drove our favourite drive - the Falls Drive - starting from the Boonah area. So nice getting to spend some time her 🫶 Showed her Tenterfield, our special place and where Corey worked for a few years.

🚲 Some big bike rides this month helping Corey prep for the Noosa Triathlon in November. He’s doing a team one and doing the cycling 40km leg. Being big kids riding ‘no hands…. 🙌’ Surprised we could still do this!

🍼 Hanging out with my little friend Charlie and my beautiful friend @aimz_cook brings joy to my week. Auntie Em duties 😍

🍰 Celebrating our girl @samirose for her 40th Birthday, Queen! She had a canvas for everyone to paint something for her, what a beautiful idea! Some special chats and time with my girl @joannecpaxton

Sami experienced first hand the damage that back to back bodybuilding seasons can do.

Anyone can stay committed to a plan with the threat of the stage looming again, but you can’t be prepared for the aftermath of being so restricted for so long.

Sami unpacks the damage of what competing back to back did to her relationship with food, and how she healed it in this episode.

Episode 17 now live on YouTube and Spotify 🎧

Most women think they can’t control themselves around food because they lack willpower, but it actually goes so much deeper than that.

In this episode I sat down with Sami Rose, Registered Counsellor who specialises in binge eating and body image.

She herself has had her own struggles with binging post her competing experience, and now she helps women break free from the binge restrict cycle with real tools and strategies that we break down in this ep.
