POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

People always tell me, “You’re so confident on camera!” or “You make it look so easy.”

Well… here’s what you DON’T see. 😂

For every nice video that makes it onto Kopitiam Lah, there are MANY versions of me forgetting my lines, saying the wrong thing, laughing halfway, starting again… and again… and again.

So no, I don’t always get it right.

But I think that’s also the fun part of work. You don’t have to get everything right all the time. Just have good people around you, laugh at yourself and make the best out of it.

Anyway… enjoy watching me struggle. 😂

Thank you @reno_pete for capturing my silliness, and thank you @sammy_422 for the most long winding script always !! 😂😂

A little chocolate, a lot of patience & endless possibilities 🍫✨

Loved creating these chocolate garnishes for @callebautindia exploring how something so delicate can be transformed through tempering, spreading, piping, curling & shaping into something that truly elevates a dessert!

Chocolate can be unforgiving, but that’s also what makes working with it so exciting. One degree, one movement, one little detail can change everything 🌡️

Really enjoyed bringing these ideas to life with the amazing team at @lavonneacademyindia × @callebautindia 🤎

This past Saturday felt like one of those moments where you stop and realize how much can change in a year.

Two years ago, @ifrah.td and I took a class together at Chakra. Today, we make chocolate together as Naked&Holy, and we celebrated my one-year anniversary as a spin instructor with ice cream made from the bean-to-bar, date-sweetened chocolate we’ve spent months creating together.

But what made the morning SUPER special were all the riders-turned-friends who showed up to ride, celebrate, and support.

Chakra has always been more than a place to work out. It feels like a gathering of kind, curious, generous humans who genuinely show up for one another.

Two years ago, I don’t think I would have felt comfortable celebrating myself like this. On Saturday, I did - without question. And that’s in large parts thanks to this space, which has emboldened me to take up more space.

Thank you for riding with me, cheering me on, and making this past year so meaningful.

My heart is very full. 🤎

Love,
Kimsuka

It’s not just any candle… it’s a spicy edible butter candle. 🌶️🕯️
All you need is melted butter.
For colour, I used cayenne pepper + beetroot powder.
A pinch of salt, mix it all up, pour into a mould with a wick, blast freeze, pop it out and voilà! Your spicy edible butter candle is ready. ✨

As I sit down to plan for the next supper club hosting , I reflect upon the last one we hosted 2 Sundays ago. I am incredibly grateful for our lovely guests who made this possible.

The supper club we hosted last time - Native Notes was in partnership with @benneandbonds The lovely folks @vasudha_kanet @ruchaj93 from the community reached out to me with a request for curating a menu for their members. With a free hand to create, I decided to dive into some of favorite memories of breakfast ( through my life) for inspiration. I picked a few, put them together as an elevated brunch menu-a 7 course tasting menu that was planned for 6 diners. The food and flavours , at the heart of it, were Indian and in line with the season. And that’s how this edition of the supper club 1.0 - Native Notes Brunch came about.

Here’s a look at the menu and the courses that were served.

Watch out for the upcoming posts on details on the courses and the stories behind each of those dishes.

Harthika | Pragya | Vidhusha | Akanksha | Sameera | Vasudha | Rucha ❤️❤️

Thank you for choosing to spend your Sunday morning with me — for showing up with open hearts, curious palates, and such radiant energy. It means the world that you trusted me to feed you, to share a piece of myself through the food I cooked and the menu I lovingly curated.

A meal becomes something truly special when it's shared, and you all made that morning unforgettable. The laughter, the conversations, the quiet moments of savoring — those are the memories I hold close.

Thank you for being part of my supper club journey. I hope you left feeling nourished, not just in body, but in spirit too.

With so much love and gratitude❤️

A year after I couldn’t manage Skandagiri gave another try at a supposedly easy trek which was an adventure we got lost both the time ascending and descending as trails were not clearly defined and had no markers !! The weather the wind was super amazing and cool the bird songs omg a random group of enthu cutlets women joined in for this adventure and my daughter ensured I managed to reach the top while I was almost on the verge of giving up !! Il@ne footer better and better equipped with good shoes and a hiking pole next time and Skandagiri is one trek which I wanna complete !!

This women’s day, we celebrate the joy of adventure, independence, empowerment. Cheering all women around the world who step out of their comfort zone, and encourage others to tread a path unchartered. Not forgetting the men who support us with no inhibitions. We love you! 🩷
Grateful for the Pink Boots’ community growing stronger every year 😊

MEET SAMEERA RAVI
A marketing expert from Bangalore.
Quiet, composed, forever helpful yet somehow always lost in her own little world, always smiling and can sleep through a storm!
On her first trek with Pink Boots, Sammy was amazed by her ability to sleep through her first night in a sleeping bag. The rest of us distinctly struggled - our guard dogs barking incessantly in the forest for a couple hours. And Sam had zero recollection of it. Knocked out, she made us jealous, but we are glad she found her zone!
A distinct memory on her trek, Sammy recalls the glorious sunset at Ali Bugyal. “Sunsets in general are beautiful, but watching it from the top of a mountain was something else. The entire mountain range as far as you can see was covered in orange and it was truly spectacular.”
“I remember waiting in the cold for about 30 minutes, waiting for the sunset. If I had given in to my impatience, I’d have missed the most amazing sunset of my life. That taught me that slowing down and being patient once in a while is much needed and this lets you enjoy every little thing that comes your way.”
⛰️
Intricate learnings Sam! We can’t wait to have you back in the Himalayas! Many more mountains to climb!
