✨ 36 Years of Rebecca’s — and a Hard-Earned First Anniversary ✨

Since 1989, Rebecca’s has been built on love, resilience, and family. And behind the scenes of it all is Sam—Rebecca’s daughter—who answers your emails, orders your gowns, and makes sure every wedding dress arrives exactly as it should. 💌

This year, we not only celebrate 36 years of Rebecca’s, but also Sam and Haley’s first wedding anniversary—a milestone made all the more meaningful after the year they’ve walked through together.

After years in remission, Sam relapsed with aplastic anemia—a rare bone marrow failure disease that demanded the fight of her life and six weeks in the hospital. With the gift of a perfect donor match, she underwent chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant, with Rebecca and Haley steadfast at her side.

While they were away, our team carried Rebecca’s with so much heart. Sam’s sister Alex (our co-owner), along with Madeleine and Jesse, kept the boutique running seamlessly, and our stylists continued to pour magic into every appointment. We are endlessly grateful ✨

And then came a moment we’ll never forget: one of our own Rebecca’s Brides, Megan Locey, walked into Sam’s hospital room—not in a gown, but as her physical therapist. For decades, we’ve stood by brides in their most joyful moments—and this year, a Rebecca’s Bride stood by us in one of our hardest. That’s family. 💕

Today, Sam is home—healing with her wife and their dogs by her side. And as we honor 36 years and a love that endures, our hearts are full of gratitude—for our brides, our team, and every chapter still to come.

Here’s to 36 years—and to every love story we’ve yet to celebrate. 🥂

It’s hard to find the words to describe how magical this day was - the day that Rebecca’s daughter Sam married the love of her life Haley! 🥹🥰 And not only are Sam (and now Haley) a part of Rebecca’s actual family, they are both a part of our “Rebecca’s Family” as behind-the-scenes staff members as well! Sam is the one who orders all of your dresses, books your appointments, etc, and Haley is the brains behind our marketing team! 💕

On a perfect October day on a friend’s property in LaGrange, Sam and Haley said “I do” to forever during an intimate ceremony filled with happy tears, with both brides wearing custom gowns from the amazing @madelinegardner @morileeofficial 🤩Haley’s black dress was inspired by a classic tuxedo which contrasted beautifully with Sam’s blush sparkly tulle gown and custom veil with green embroidery 🌿

The two brides then changed into their reception looks that showed off a different side of their personalities - Haley in a corseted jumpsuit and long jacket by @casablancabridal and Sam in clean crepe gown by @mikaellabridal , and she added a tiny bow at the waist plus a short veil for a classic 90’s bride vibe 👰‍♀️

Their cozy candlelit dinner was filled with laughter and personal touches like bookmark place cards (as a nod to both brides’ love of books), with a custom drawing by Sam and a beautiful note to the guests by Haley 🥹

We are so happy for Sam & Haley that they have found an incredible love like this 🥰 There is nothing better than finding someone that makes you feel happy, safe, and cherished, and someone that you know you can be yourself with 👏🙌 These two women are both so creative, kind, unique, and effortlessly cool, and together they are pure magic ✨Cheers to this beautiful couple and the beautiful life they are building together! 🥂

A reception that feels like dinner with friends. ✨ Intimate weddings at private residences are always my very favorite to do. They are intentional and the attention to detail is always top notch. Cheers to more of that in 2025!
