Introducing Sam PV. Brama founder and resident @sampv____ returns to our wooden booth for the first time since March. With almost 25 years of raving in his home city of London under his belt there’s not much about the capitals dance floors that Sam doesn’t know. That depth of experience shines through in his DJ sets, which often span a broad gamut of genres, tying together disparate sounds with a playful touch that foregrounds big drums and bright melodies. But at Brama this eclecticism is eschewed for a resolute focus on House music of all kinds. Join us on Saturday 31sr October as Sam opens proceedings. Tickets now on final release 🎟️

A belated but very much deserved recap of my recent quasi-world tour — what a trip to perform on multiple continents on one tour, my back is NOT happy about that but it was 1000000% worth it!! 💓💓💓💓 Highlights include going to my very first Carnival in London — shout out to King Tubby's insanely massive stacks, I'm going to be feeling that sub bass even when I'm dead lmao. Every single moment in Brazil was a blessing and a privilege, I love everyone I met and spent time with down there. 🇧🇷🇧🇷 Plus the sold out show in Glasgow which I sadly have zero documentation of, my live show in Belgrade was such a joy, returning to Blå Oslo was an even better set than my previous time, and getting to spend my last days in Georgia was a true honour. ✨🫂🫶🏻 Grateful as always to everyone who invited me out. Fresh off seeing him for the first time at @come_bye_festival this weekend, it’s time to talk about our 2nd headliner Introducing… @sampv____ 👑 Sam grew up in London, his tastes moulded by the city’s diverse dance music scenes: from childhood trips to Notting Hill Carnival, to formative dancefloor experiences at nights like FWD, Trash and Süd Electronic. He brings these influences to his DJing in sets that span a broad gamut of genres, tied together by a love for big drums, pop melodies, sensual sub-bass and sleaze.    Frustrated by the lack of queer spaces where you could hear both a Svek record and Kylie in the same night, Sam founded @pumpingvelvetldn in 2018, driven by the belief that the barriers erected between pop and ‘serious’ dance music are entirely artificial. It’s this same ethos and disregard for boundaries that makes his DJ so thrilling. In 2025 Sam established a second London party @brama______ as an inclusive space for dancers of all persuasions that highlights the deeper side of dance music. Alongside his residencies at both Brama and Pumping Velvet Sam is often to be found playing across the UK and the US, at venues such as Good Room and Hot Mass, alongside other international gigs including Planeta Manas (Lisbon), Savage (Hanoi), Kockiri (Seoul) and (Re)treat Festival (Vietnam). Never afraid to take risks, Sam knows that there is no such thing as a guilty pleasure - a perfect mixture of quality dance music and reminding us that the dancefloor is a space for fun and to not take yourself too seriously. Brama is back 🖤 Over a busy festival season Brama residents have been pulling strings for their return and we’ve been anxiously waiting. On the 31st October, Hideout becomes the House Of Horrors. Doudou MD headlines. From her Slapfunk residency to Multisex and Dekmantel, and all tasteful points in between. She’s joined by Gay Haze boss Fais Le Beau. We’ve been so impressed with Diego’s classy record collection over the past couple years. Rounded out by a debut b2b from UK house originator Grace Sands, and our very own Toby Nicholas; a warmup from other Brama boss, Sam PV; and on our Chillout Boat, a return for icon S3BA, and debut for ace Portuguese DJ Stckman. Brama returns on Halloween… ３１ － １０ － ２６． On 31st October, we cordially invite you to Brama’s House Of Horrors, as we return to our gorgeous wooden home, Hideout. We agonised over the lineup for our return. We’re proud of the lovely mix of DJs, musically and in every other way, that’s come together for 31st October. It represents what Brama is about. Headlining our House Of Horrors, is queen @doudou.md. A Slapfunk resident, now Doudou has spread her wings to play our favourite parties across the world, from Multisex to Dekmantel, and all tasteful points in between. often when i’m dancing, i find myself low to the ground, repeating my movements like ritualistic prayer. my body enters a trance like state. in my trance, i hallucinate a great spirit. it’s massive with thousands of limbs and a roar that shakes the earth. it’s a beautiful twisting, kicking, screeching, fucking, cackling, writhing mass. for the longest time, i assumed that this spirit was a separate entity conjured by our collective movements. this honcho i realized that that spirit was us. had my mind stretched, twisted and rewired at honcho this year. the way genres, gender expression, fashion, sex and human connection are bent at this festival leave me feeling like a sponge absorbing it all. and what an honor to return to the festival this time as a member of the artist liaison team! shout out to my team and shout out to all the artists. i left every day (morning) exhausted but closer to my truth. i feel so inspired and soul nourished and cannot wait to take the lessons i took with me forward. i bared witness so many beautiful connections with each other, with myself and with the land. there’s a lot more that i can say but all i can say for now is that i thank god that im queer in this and in every single lifetime. @honchopgh forever ♾️
