CLONE RECORDS × E-fRUITY RECORDS CULTURE WEEK
22–29 November 2026 · Shanghai, China

We’re excited to announce @clonerecords × E-fRUITY Records Culture Week, bringing together electronic music, vinyl culture, and communities from Rotterdam and Shanghai.

For over three decades, Clone Records has connected artists, labels, record shops, DJs, and listeners worldwide. This November, we’re bringing that spirit to Shanghai for eight days of record store pop-ups, film screenings, vinyl DJ workshops, livestreams, artist talks, a record signing, and a release party.

We’re thrilled to welcome Clone founder @sergeclone and vinyl-only DJ @afra_dj__ , alongside @mahaiping , and many more artists and DJs from local and international scenes.

This week also marks a special milestone: E-fRUITY Records’ debut release, E-fRUITY-001 — the fifth-anniversary vinyl reissue of Ma Haiping’s Chang’e-4, originally released on Jeff Mills’ AXIS Records in 2021, now distributed worldwide by Clone Records.

More than a week of events, this is about bringing people together, sharing knowledge, and building lasting connections between independent music communities.

We hope this is just the beginning.

See you in Shanghai!

More details coming soon. Stay tuned!

byyb.workshop is the learning side of @byyb.radio in Shanghai, where local musicians bring their experience from the booth into the classroom. Beyond technique, they share how they listen, the choices behind their sets, and what playing music has taught them. The roles of performer and learner shift naturally here, within a community shaped by listening, exchanging ideas and trying things out together🪴

On Thursday, October 8, we return to Heim for a night shaped around rhythm, space and connection.

Bringing together a carefully selected lineup of DJs from different corners of Shanghai’s underground scene, the night moves through warm grooves, leftfield textures, house, bass and deeper club sounds allowing the music to unfold naturally rather than following a fixed formula.

The lineup features JRG, Sam TBD, Secret guest with DJ Benimaru opening the night.

No hierarchy, no rush just a shared space, a good sound system, and a dancefloor that gradually finds its own rhythm.

See you at Heim.

Floating / 15:00-Late

Remember?
Those countless eternal summers spent together underground on the steaming dance floor;
Those glamorous nights with hot pink smeared on your skin and glitter in your eye;
Those tinsel sparkling and tangled in your heels followed you home,
and shivering still in your dreams.
She's now back from the dead, landed in the pavilion,
bringing heaven back to earth.

This Saturday, September 12th, Alter Pavilion returns to Yu Garden. From afternoon till late, we've gathered the OGs of Shanghai's underground scene. The sounds that shaped countless nights on the Elevator dancefloor will reconnect within this garden. Seven DJs and musicians will take turns presenting their own sonic chapters, leaving a one-night-only frequency imprint on the garden. A special menu has been put together for this night only with our secret feature: pink underwear.

游山 YOUSHAN Artist | Sam Tbd

Based in Shanghai, Sam Tbd has become one of the city’s most influential figures in underground electronic music, combining his work as a DJ, curator, and community builder. As the former managing partner and music director of Elevator, he helped shape one of China’s most celebrated club spaces, creating a home where international pioneers, emerging local artists, and adventurous audiences came together on equal footing.

Inspired by the house traditions of Chicago and New York, alongside the dubby, spacey sounds of Detroit, the UK, and beyond, Sam approaches every set with openness and curiosity. Rather than following a fixed plan, he lets each journey unfold in the moment, discovering the dancefloor together with the crowd. Today, through his party and label MEDUSA, he continues to champion forward-thinking dance music while nurturing communities across China and Asia.

This July, Sam Tbd brings his unmistakable Shanghai energy to the valley.
