i’ve been trying to put into words what this weekend has meant to me but i don’t think it will do justice.

all i wanted this year was to be surrounded by community and create memories. my village did that and THEN some. whether they’ve know me for the past 26 years or just months ago, i’ve never felt more loved, seen, or appreciated. thank you to each and every person that showed me love this weekend physically, virtually, and always. i’ll never forget it. cheers to twenty six! 🥂🫶🏾

First cruise. Second solo trip. Birthday gift to myself.

Did not know what to expect as an introvert. As you can see, this introvert evolved to a ambivert because of these dope individuals I met. Plus one of them is a psychologist so her words are credible 😂 and the Knicks beat the Hawks! 🙌🏾

Virgin Voyages… I will be coming back 🎯

Sammy 🤍

Watching your journey over all these years has been such an honor. Truly. To see the growth, the resilience, the becoming… it makes me so proud to call you my best friend…. my family.

You’ve been my safe space in seasons when I didn’t even have the words. And I love that we’re that for each other. No judgment. No pretending. Just real, steady love & friendship for over 10 years.

Our friendship has range, we can laugh until we cry, talk about absolutely nothing, and then somehow end up unpacking everything. And no matter the distance, we’ve always chosen each other. We’ve put in the time. We’ve put in the effort. We’ve protected what we have.

That means everything to me. 🙏

You are so special to my heart. So rare. So exceptional.

I hope this birthday month pours back into you the way you’ve poured into everyone else.

I love you dearly. Always.

Samuelito, Samuel, Sammy… Pooh Bear!!!!

Where to begin?!! You have been such a light in my life from even before we met. IYKYK!
I’ll never stop thanking you or reminding you of how you played such an important role in the life I have now.

I’m so grateful to have such an amazing human like you. A best friend that is truly one of a kind. Thank you for being such a devoted, loyal friend to everyone you love so deeply.

You deserve all of the goodness in the world. I have truly enjoyed being a part of the journey you’ve been on. To watch you grow and evolve into an even better version of yourself than when we first met has been a true blessing.
I love you beyond words. There is truly no one like you. I consider myself blessed that our paths crossed and we have become such an integral part of each others lives. We’re family for life.

I only pray God continues to bless us with more time to get through this thing called life, together. I don’t know where I would be without your guidance and care.

Happiest of birthdays #BestFriend @samuelito.colon ! 🎂🎈
