Saturday, we cheered on the bands and teams at the @chifootballclassic; and kicked it at the @79thstrenfest.

A little motivation before you step into your weekend: take the leap. 🌱✨

When @sandirobinson13 was preparing to leave her job, a friend gave her a tiny mustard seed that still sits on her desk to this day. It serves as a daily reminder that you don’t need an overwhelming amount of certainty to make a bold move—you just have to believe, take the leap, and refuse to live in the world of “what if”.

Even if things don’t work out on the first try, you try again. But you’ll never know the outcome if you never start.
Whatever crossroad you’ve been standing on this week, carry this reminder with you into the weekend: mustard-seed faith is more than enough.

ROAD TO 27.

I’m not too proud to work.

Let me say that again.

I’M NOT TOO PROUD TO WORK.

I need $27,000 to cover my daughter’s semester at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

So I’m doing whatever I have to do.

Jobs.
Side hustles.
Art.
Events.
Labor.
Anything LEGAL and HONEST that puts money toward that $27K.

I don’t care what it looks like.

Because somewhere along the way, I realized my daughter’s dream is bigger than my ego.

She earned a 5.25 GPA.
She was involved in 9 extracurricular activities.
She did everything she was supposed to do.

She worked for this.

And now she has an opportunity to chase a dream that could change the rest of her life.

So if that means her father has to humble himself, then watch me humble myself.

If that means starting from zero, then watch me start from zero.

If that means working until I’m exhausted and then getting up and doing it again tomorrow, THEN THAT’S WHAT I’M GOING TO DO.

I’m not asking anybody to feel sorry for me.

I’m documenting the journey.

This is Road to 27.

$27,000 is the goal.

And I’m going to show what happens when a father decides that his child’s dream is worth fighting for.

One job.
One opportunity.
One dollar at a time.

Watch me get there.
