🔴 SOLD!

Congratulations Sandra Garritano on the sale of your ‘Braided Memory' on show at Cultiver's Sydney Flagship Store, 643 Military Road, Mosman.

'Braided Memory' mixed media on canvas 120 x 90 cm sold for $2.2K. 30% of the sale goes to Mosman High School's Visual Arts Faculty to support supplementary art excursions and incursions. The artist retains the other 70% of the purchase price.

Sandra Garritano is an abstract expressionist painter and art teacher who moved from the US to Australia in the early 1970s. She fell in love with the colour and light living by the water in Sydney.

Sandra's works incorporate complex shapes, colours and marks that create a textural quality.

As Sandra explains, "Using acrylic and oil paints, inks, oil pastels, wax pencils, graphite and oil glazing, I create the under-layers combining texture, colour and mark-making, gradually tightening up the composition that includes collage pieces from other works."
