Here’s to the best four years of my life!

We’ve faced so many challenges these few years. Through it all, we’ve needed a lot of grit and determination to carry on.

That desire to respond in the face of challenges (and a lot of @dunkin coffee) is what has kept me in the fight for these years, and why I’ll continue the fight.

Still, for all the trials we’ve been through, I wouldn’t trade a single moment for the world.

As I reflect on these four years, I am infinitely grateful for my friends, family, and professors who continue to have faith in me. I could not have done this without you.

A few months later and I am still struggling to find words to describe how much gratitude I have for my time here. This place has given me so much. So many relationships built, lessons learned, memories made. So much personal discovery and growth. College chewed me up and spit out a new person. But I guess that’s kinda the point, right?? It’s a bittersweet feeling to leave behind a place that has shaped me in so many ways, but I’m lucky to be able to carry its impact into all that’s yet to come.

We’re thrilled to introduce the 2026 cohort of Roosevelt in Washington (RIW) Fellows! 🎉

The RIW Fellowship from the Roosevelt Network offers undergraduates in the middle stage of their college careers a six-month immersion in the policy and advocacy work shaping debates in Washington, DC. Fellows participate in mentorship, professional development, and an eight-week summer internship supporting the Roosevelt Institute or partner organizations.

Through career exploration, skill-building workshops, and community with peers, alumni, and policy leaders, RIW fellows gain a firsthand look at how research, organizing, and advocacy interact to shape policy—and where they see themselves in that work.

This year’s fellows bring diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and universities together in a shared commitment to building a more just economy and democracy.
