Hey everyone! Sam here! After today, i will no longer be managing our instagram page. These last couple months have been insane. Local Grown started off as an instagram page that I started just to publicize information i was getting from work. Since then, Local Grown has been recognized by the IRS as a public charity non profit, and we have just about enough to get our first year of scholarships out. Thank you again for all the support these past few months. In the meantime, be on the look out for some public events, and always feel free to reach out to us for anything. HERES THE TEAM SO FAR!!!

this page will now be managed by @only_unlimited_ and @kannezcia

People of Colour Clothing aims to educate, generate conversation, and create opportunities for people to examine their conscious behavior on topics primarily related to racial identity, racism, and discrimination. By wearing P.O.C.C., one is able to embrace their racial identity while bringing attention to underlying social factors and discrimination that people of color face every day.⁣⁣

Itself a challenge to move past the visceral response of being offended when made aware of your inherited privilege or having your normality tested . It’s a challenge to educate, explorer, and develop broader perspectives when it comes to social injustice and inequity. The underlying sentiments of People of Colour Clothing are confidence, community, and culture. ⁣⁣
