Photographed today, Painted Lady aka Bergpypie (Gladiolus carneus) flowering in the Table Mountain National Park above Kommetjie. It’s pollinated by large, specialised long-tongued flies. What a stunner!

The (male) Boomslang, spotted on table mountain, Cape Town, South Africa. - highly dangerous with fatal venom but a slow delivery. It has one of the most lethal hemotoxic venoms in any African snake. Causing internal and external bleeding often take hours or days to appear, making victims think they are fine.

Admire from a distance and enjoy the sun glistening from its scales causing vibrant colors to appear between them.

Some say it's just cloud.

Cape Town locals know better. 😏🌫️

Legend has it that whenever the south-easter rolls in and smoke-like clouds gather around Devil's Peak, Van Hunks and the Devil are at it again — locked in an epic pipe-smoking contest neither is willing to lose.

And here we are, watching the mountain keep their little secret. 👀😈

Cape Town, you really do come with stories.

⛰️ Hike local, hike with heart.

🌍 What travel dreams have you made a reality? 🥹✈️

Standing on top of Table Mountain, taking it all in, and realising that a place I’d dreamed of visiting for the past 3 years was finally right in front of me 🇿🇦⛰️

South Africa has been on my bucket list for so long, and I can honestly say it was worth the wait ❤️

One of the things I love most about living in Dubai is how much it has opened up the world to me. More opportunities to travel, more dreams turning into reality, and more moments like this that I’ll never forget. 🌍☀️

✨ A little reminder (for YOU and ME) that the places you dream about today can become the places you stand tomorrow

💭 Your turn — what destination are you dreaming of visiting?

Mountains endure a burden of witnessing time pass without the ability to move with it. They watch as generations pass, how vessels travel, waves crash and coastline change.

The main question is, does anything ever truely last? Or are things changing too slowly for us to realize.

In such a sense, this mountain will witness our first and last breaths, yet it knows that every rock will eventually return to the sea.

No a pár rodinných portrétů jsem jim udělal!😉🐧

🇬🇧: Boulders Beach is home to one of the largest colonies of African penguins in the world. It is also one of the few places where the population of these critically endangered birds is actually growing. Visiting Boulders Beach was one of our main goals during our stay in Cape Town.
The best time to visit is early in the morning or later in the afternoon, when you can avoid the biggest crowds and watch the penguins feeding their chicks.
This photograph captures the exact moment when one of the parents returned from hunting to feed its little ones. The chicks were scrambling onto its back, desperately trying to reach its beak, as this is how penguin parents feed their young with regurgitated, partially digested fish.
What amazed us was that, despite the common claim that “penguins usually raise only one chick,” we seemed to see twins everywhere!
Hearing their calls and watching the parents take care of their little ones was truly unforgettable! And of course, I couldn’t resist taking a few family portraits of them! 😉🐧
