Went for BBQ… ended up chopping it up with some heavy hitters in the game🔥🤝 “Good smoke brings good people together.”
Thank you @sanscouth for the invite, you killed it my boy🫡 It was a pleasure to hang out with you, the team and talk BBQ🔥

Had the chance to meet Kevin from @kevinsbbqjoints at Weaver’s today. Really cool meeting someone who’s done so much to highlight the people, places, and stories behind great BBQ.

Jessie and Chad killing it.

Always great to see @sanscouth!! What a great dude. I could talk bbq and tattoos all day.

Matt and Pops kept the Que rolling at Bubby’s BBQ with the ribs and turkey. 🔥🍖

The ribs were FALL-off-the-bone tender — exactly how Matt likes ’em. Eat your heart out, Ben. 😂 These might just be the highlight of the whole tray… but we’re not calling it yet. 👀

The turkey was solid too — tender, juicy, and a nice change of pace between all that rich BBQ.

Bubby’s keeps delivering. Stay tuned to see if those ribs hold onto the top spot! 🔥

Happy Birthday to Pops ❤️🔥

There’s no way to put into words how much this man means to us. Pops is the heart of The Boys — the guy who keeps us grounded, Always supports our crazy ideas, and somehow always knows how to get the best BBQ photos 😂📸

From BBQ road trips and late nights around the smoker to all the memories we’ve made together as a family, we’re beyond thankful for every second with him.

We love you Pops. Thank you for being the father, grandfather, and friend that you are. Here’s to many more memories, many more trays, and many more laughs together 🍻🔥

Everybody tell us your favorite story about Pops and wish him a HAPPY BIRTHDAY in the comments! 👇🏼❤️

Had a fun time cooking briskets for Brats and Bluegrass in Fargo to support @helpthehousefoundation. Totally cook time 11 hours with resting time. Used Red oak during the cook.

New BLOG Post

The Houston BBQ Festival recap is now live on unofficialbbqguy.com (link in bio).

This year’s Houston BBQ Festival wasn’t about perfect weather. It was about pitmasters showing up, crowds showing up, and the kind of food that can still stop you in your tracks even when you’re running around trying to cover it all.

That’s always the trick with events like this. The camera usually eats first. But between the chaos, there were a few moments, a few faces, and a few bites that reminded me why this scene keeps pulling people in.

These are some of the people who helped make the day what it was.

Photos from the festival are available to download on the site. For anything further, contact me at conor@unofficialbbqguy.com.

Were you there? Let me know your favorite bite.
