A little reminder for the main reason most of us do this job. It may sound corny or generic but we sometimes really do get to make a difference in someone’s life. ⁣

Looking back, it’s hard to put this experience into words... I remember thinking “this sucks soooo bad”. I mean rucking 1 mile with one pound per officer who died in the line of duty?!? 150 miles?!? 150 pounds in 2018 alone?!? .... yeah right... the blisters sucked, the burning in your muscles sucked, the looking ahead of you to only see empty roadway and miles of trees sucked... none of it was put into perspective till the very end when I over heard another rucker say “ Yeah it sucked but at least I’m not one of the officers, pictured on these weights” These Officers we were carrying were mothers, fathers, son, daughters, brothers and sisters. They didn’t have the opportunity to march for the falling. Although I gave it my best, it wasn’t enough. I owe it to them to get in better shape to carry their weight from day to day being the best LEO I can be. Thank you @blueline_ocr and @ro_jax for pushing me to join @eowmr. Yeah it sucked but at least I’m here to carry the weight.

Last Saturday, we were able to sponsor a very meaningful event called End Of Watch Memorial Ruck. This event honored the men and women of law enforcement that have given the ultimate sacrifice. -

End of Watch Memorial Ruck Ending Ceremony was a BLESSING to attend yesterday. It was a reminder that many have given their lives. As Sheriff Bob Johnson said, "the Bible talks about laying down your life for a friend. These men and women did it for complete strangers... The only sacrifice greater than this is the sacrifice Jesus Christ made at Calvary."
THANK YOU @blueline_ocr (Caleb Cook) for putting this together. It was a fantastic tribute to our fallen heroes of the blue line!

@SantaRosaSheriff's Deputy Shawn Swindell and his K-9 Ziggy were hard at work. After a long day, sometimes all you need is a hug. #StarOnTheStreet #dogsofinsta

It’s always fun to start the last Friday morning of each month with more than 100 business owners, managers & community leaders in the Navarre area. We appreciate Santa Rosa County Sheriff Bob Johnson taking time to give us an update on the major crime statistics & ways the SRCSO is working to keep us safe. And, special thanks to Okaloosa Gas for sponsoring the March Commerce & Coffee! #ConnectingNavarre
