To Sarath, with love.

For ten wonderful years, Sarath was much more than the manager of Cafe 17. He was the familiar smile our regulars knew by name, the person customers could always count on, and our true “all-in-all” — from taking care of people to fixing a light or transforming the cafe for a special day, Sarath somehow knew how to handle it all.

Now, as he heads home to be closer to his family, it’s difficult to say goodbye. Because somewhere along these ten years, Sarath stopped being an employee and simply became family.

Thank you, Sarath, for ten years of loyalty, warmth, countless memories and for being such an important part of the Cafe 17 story. We’ll miss having you around, but this doesn’t feel like an ending.

Our paths will cross again. ❤️
