The Invisible Dog goes for a walk in France until September 4th!

First stop Paris, thanks to @paz_corona_paris who graciously hosts ID in residency at her beautiful art studio (the 147) and where artist Stephen Morrison @dogsihavepainted will create a new series of work inspired by 18th Century Cloth of Jouy.

Then Avignon, invited by director Mohamed El Khatib @mohamed.elkhatib.officiel to participate to a project that brings arts in nursing home in collaboration with @collection_lambert . @lucienchefambition will cook a special menu inspired by Provençal cuisine for 200 residents. In the afternoon of Saturday July 12, the residence will open to the public from 2 to 6pm.

On July 19 & 20, Lucien Chef Ambition will be in residency at Slava Polunin's Moulin Jaune @moulinjaune and its remarkable garden at Crécy La Chapelle. During the themed weekend - White and Farniente - visitors will be invited to create their Pavlova, the beautiful white dessert named after the russian prima ballerina while choreographer Thierry Thieu Niang will teach us some farniente movements. Book you tickets, it's only 20 euros and many discounted options.

And finally, return to the 147 for a little "SAM in Paris". For the whole month of August, I will be experimenting new recipes, with summer produce. So I you are want to experiment SAM as guest or if you are looking for private chef for your summer parties, feel free to reach out!

More info and details are available on my Substack. Please subscribe and support if you can. (link on bio 👆🏼)

Venice, art, friends and a beautiful Campo, far from the crowd. How to resist to pull out a table and host a SAM dinner, the third one outside Brooklyn after Paris and Rome. For the occasion, I create a new salad with pea, strawberry, fava bean, artichoke purée, tomato, fresh garlic, highly inspired by @alice.arnx’s childhood memories. Everyone was enchanted. As soon as I will be back, the salad will be SAMed a bit more and served at #sambrooklyn

🤵🏻More as usually today Lucien Zayan is a special person we must salute and bless not just because it is his birthday but also because he represents diversity, various people, richness of differences we need. Jewish or arab? Married with a boy or best friend of the girls? Protector of artists or of traditional recipes? Dalida or Wagner? Kitchen or « salle à manger »? Old Stan Smith or impeccably irones white shirt? Imitation of a Marseille-style « cagole » or of the train of Lumiere’s brothers which enters in the station of La Ciotat? Malmousque or Coney island? Solex or NY cab? Poetry without protocole or « Chevalier des Arts et Lettres »? Travel in Kyoto or Mexico? Fez or cap?

Why should he make a choice?

💿His choice is mix all and it’s his luxury destiny, original cultures, loving, cooking, dancing, speaking, welcome artists, listen music, escaping in the city as the « petit fugitif » de Morris Engel.

Happy birthday my friend! Happy sweet sixteen season of your center of art, and you, if you want to go with the invisible dog, have your name in it wall of donators, you can donate now because today is the « matching Day » of the crowfunding campaign.

A last reflexion about Venice Biennale before heading home. If all is about art here - for the best and the worst - it’s also all about the people. @venice.art.biennale is an incredible mix: A group of young German queer, listening with attention their fellow student making a presentation on a campo or my beautiful goddaughter @anna.lucia.mosca improvising movements in the Spanish Pavilion just because she got inspired by the emptiness of the space. In Venice there is also the eternal “elegant” for whom Visconti is still present. And Venice won’t be the same with dear friends, “the gang” (not on the photos). For all of them the passion for art is the same. Venice makes it even more vibrant. Good bye all, good bye dear gang. Your are all so much missed already. #labiennaledivenezia
