The light in this apartment is really something special to experience in person, and we are thrilled that it translated to the photos.

Views from our Greenwich Village pied-à-terre featured this week by @elledecorationuk 🤍

So many of our favorite vendors, artisans, and artists are packed into this jewel box of an apartment. This was a dream project for us, the result of talented hands combined with the trust of our wonderful clients.

The building, a 1925 art deco co-op designed by the renowned architecture firm Helmle & Corbett, features original plasterwork on the vaulted ceilings and soaring windows in the living room. We took cues from the architecture, the creative spirit of Greenwich Village, and personalized the space for our clients' lifestyle by adding custom millwork and updating the finishes and fixtures throughout.

CCA changed my life. It feels really strange to imagine a future without it. That space meant so much to me:

It’s where, for the first time since moving to the US, I found a community where I truly felt I belonged. It’s where I heard my own voice a little louder. Where I lived without family around for the first time. Where I questioned everything. Where I got clarity. Where I got a divorce.

It’s where I learned how essential friendships would be in my life, how to nurture them. It’s a place I learned how to love and be loved.

Here are a few images I was able to find, but there’s so much more out there. If you have anything from 2010–2012, please send it my way.

My heart goes out to everyone who’s being directly impacted by this right now, which feels like the entire Bay Area art community. 💗

Saw more great art this weekend! Attended a very lively, packed opening for “Spectra” @artscounciloflakeoswego on Friday and was able to check out “Abstract Only” @fordgallery.pdx yesterday. These are just a few of my faves!

Local artist Sara Dykstra painted this gorgeous piece especially for us and it makes these foggy days seem sunny. Sara has a studio in the Sacramento street Design District of San Francisco and is incredibly talented. Follow her at @saradykstra_

Arc Fine Arts Consulting is singularly focused on connecting local businesses & collectors with local art & artists. Our goal is to pull horrible, faded giclées off the wall and replace them with original art that supports our SF Bay Area community.
Pictured here: works by Sara Dykstra, John Wood and Silvia Poloto from the recent "48 Pillars" exhibition at Arc Gallery shown at Daltile Design Studio.

A not so still life / maquette for a painting in the light filled studio of @saradykstra_ . Looking forward to seeing the resulting work.
