be the reason other women believe they can…

as an athlete, coach, daughter, sister, cousin, mentor, fan, friend and so many more aspects of life i’m surrounded by so many inspiring people

out training recently, I ran past a young family and their little one said “i want to be like her” and that really hit me, reminding me of me when I was younger looking up to those around me who encouraged me to keep going.

similarly, in the final 500m’s of the race at @julianalpstrailrun there was two young girls at the side of the course cheering us on, giving them a high five and seeing the smile on their faces 🥹🥹

if through these i’ve inspired one more person to do a sport, keep going when others tell them not too, chase a dream, push their limits not even in sport, step out of a comfort zone, take up a new hobby then WOW !!!

KEEP chasing those crazy, wonderful dreams of yours!! (and don’t forget to smile along the way) Charlie xoxo

@julianalpstrailrun Speed 15km 3rd Female 🥉

A mixed race with a strong first climb and really struggled on the second!! Then a super close sprint finish for 3rd in the last turn up the stairs and into the finish 😝✌️

Following UTMB week, taking a week off from training was less then ideal but being sensible can work 🤭

Lots to do but lessons learnt going forward!! One to go before the end of the season
