“These trees don’t sparkle for long, however, with their shining needles likely to have dropped by the second week of October, blanketing the ground in a soft carpet of yellow before the first fall of snow erases it from view.”

Which larch hike would you recommend?

As featured by @bbc_travel, Victoria Falls is celebrated as one of the world’s finest locations to witness a lunar rainbow - an elusive phenomenon formed as moonlight passes through the Falls’ luminous mist.

Visible only under a precise combination of a full moon, clear skies, and powerful water flow, the moonbow appears on just a handful of nights each month, adding to its quiet sense of rarity.

Guests staying at Anantara Stanley & Livingstone are just a short distance to discover this extraordinary spectacle - an intimate and elevated way to experience one of Africa’s most iconic natural wonders.

Sharing Sarah Steger's BBC article on the Rocky to Nordegg Rail Trail - her thoughtful piece reflects both the landscape and the sense of place that defines @davidthompsoncountry.

Not your typical night out.
Hanging out inside the Canmore Museum with Canmore Young Adult Network for a “Night at the Museum.”

In a town surrounded by mountains, it’s easy to chase the views…
but nights like this remind us—community is the real landscape we’re meant to explore.

And maybe that’s the beauty of it all:
we didn’t just walk through history…
we became part of it.

Celebrating my friend @sarah.writeaway ‘s milestone as she launched her 1st book “The Girl Who Carried The World In Her Backpack” and her first event at @canmore_public_library.

This book inspired a lot of children especially in that room to chase after their dreams. Seeing the kids unlock their listening ears and travel with “Rue” on her adventure was heartwarming.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to document this memory.

Thank you so much to travel writer Sarah Steger (@sarah.writeaway) for visiting us on Saturday and sharing her beautiful debut picture book "The Girl Who Carried the World in Her Backpack!" 🎒

The library kiddos had such a fun time hearing about Sarah's travels and adventures, and writing and drawing about places they have been and would like to go. It was such a wonderful way to celebrate Valentine's Day with a love of literacy, learning, dreaming, and imagination! ✨💖

For more information about Sarah and her work, visit her website 👉 sarahsteger-travel.com

And keep an eye out for Sarah's book in the TRAC catalogue. Coming very soon! 👀
