Last week my friend Sarah and I had a pop up art show featuring an immersive, ocean themed installation. Music in my front yard, artist booths along the side, and a portal into an underwater world made out of trash, in the basement. Thank you to everyone who joined in with your time and support.

I guess they call this a proof of concept. I'm ready do it it again, but WAY bigger. Stay tuned.

"Aquatic Immersion on Instant Emulsion"

I had the privilege of experiencing and contributing to the recent "In Depth" art installation in Eugene Oregon this past weekend.

Spearheaded by @sarahbmakingart and @cindy.ingram.art, this amazing @meow__wolf inspired project tickled my senses immensely and I am still processing the whole experience.

I will be sharing more about "In Depth" over the next few weeks once I get all of my thoughts together and photos scanned.

We had a whaley good time at @cindy.ingram.art and @sarahbmakingart’s immersive art exhibit, “In Depth.” 🤩 What a labor of love! It was an official Eugene Porchfest event, so live music most of the day. It was one day only, but I bet she’s already dreaming of her next one. 💜🐳

Thank you, Cindy and Sarah, for your hard work, kindness, and for creating opportunities that help local artists and musicians shine and connect with new people and communities in person through our creations at Eugene Porch Fest 2026!

When I first met Cindy in 2007, she was tirelessly promoting countless local bands for free. Many local musicians, including me and my bands, were able to get gigs because of her humble dedication to bringing local musicians and venues together. She was also kind and inclusive. At the time, I was an undocumented street musician, working many random under the table jobs and eagerly building connections in Oregon.

Many people say, "Pay it forward," but sometimes it's just as magical to pay it back. I felt fortunate to support the beautiful community Cindy and Sarah have created and, in a small way, return the kindness Cindy showed me nearly two decades ago.

For one day only- Saturday, Aug 1, in Eugene, Oregon, a regular residential basement where one might do their laundry, an ocean will appear. Created by Artistic Directors @sarahbmakingart and @cindy.ingram.art and Sound Designer, @donhaugen an immersive, ocean themed art installation blurs the line between reality and aquatic dreams. Inspired by @meow__wolf and in support of @eugeneporchfest , trash art comes alive for the entire community to enjoy. Swim on by 1864 Moss st. 10am-7pm. Come on in. The water is fine.
